Pear Tree Inn

We went to this pub on the 7/6/25 with Friends and had the most amazing meal the food was excellent it was hot and the tastiest Indian food we have had in a long time ,the service was excellent, would definitely recommend this restaurant and cannot wait to go back

Not a great place to stay.

Great stopover My Room, was clean comfortable and welcoming. Had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. Food in the bar (Indian) was among the best I've had, service quick and friendly. A good stay. Just as a note the rooms are up steep stairs at the back of the pub which wouldn't be suitable for anyone with a mobility issue

Clean and tidy, but awful bed for the money When we arrived there was someone sitting in the doorway having a cigarette that we had to squeeze past which wasn't great. The room itself and the bathroom were very clean and well presented. The bed was absolutely awful though - the most uncomfortable thing ive slept on. Also think its a small double as opposed to a double. Budget hotel chains have better beds. If we had paid a budget price then I wouldnt be complaining, but at £130 for the night this was double what we felt it was worth.

Pleasant stay in Welwyn Garden City I spent a night here in December, a bit before Christmas time, during a business trip. The Inn is on top of a pub but, to my surprise, it is amazingly quiet. Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped, and it included standard hotel amenities. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was perfect: I slept better than I have in other more famous hotels. I also discovered that the Pear Tree Inn has appeared in 2013 movie The World's end. Overall I had a great stay and I can only recommend the Pear Tree Inn.

Nice clean room with plenty of space. I had a pleasant stay in a spacious and quiet room. It was clean and wi fi was very good.
