Samsara Cliff Resort

I’ve been coming to Negril for 20 years and this was my 3rd stay at Samsara! I’ve definitely found my spot! Is it a little outdated? Sure, but have you seen the rest of Negril? For the price you’re paying, you get a comfortable and clean room (the new Vuz rooms are a big step up), amazing staff, pretty good food (dinner is always great) and some of the best views I’ve seen on the island. I love how quiet and secluded it is, and the free shuttle to the beach when you want a little more action is perfect! I’ll miss taking morning dips in the ocean and watching sunset at the bar with Tina! See you next year Samsara family! One love!

Samsara exceeded expectations! For a 3⭐️ hotel, we received 5⭐️ service & location was on point! Comfortable bed, good food, not overly crowded. Very friendly people that learned our names on day one and felt like family by the time we left. We loved the shuttle service to the beach as well as morning snorkeling right outside our door. The rooms could use updating but we had no intention of staying in our room the whole time so it didn’t bother us one bit! The rooms were clean and AC worked great so we were happy with it at this price. It was a great value and we will stay again. Thanks Samsara for a wonderful trip!

Great staff, excellent food, beautiful views, Cliff side waters are lovely, excellent for a swim most time of the day and a nice spot for snorkeling, 10am shuttle to legends was excellent loved my time on the beach.

PHIL & KATE: This was our second year running staying at Samsara and will be booking again next year. Absolutely love this hotel! Nice quiet chill out spot up on the cliffs just 10 minutes away from 7 mile beach. The staff are really friendly and will go out their way to meet your needs. Food is delicious and a great upstairs dining area with large windows overlooking the sea whilst you eat your food. Have to big up Jenifer at reception for showing me how to eat mango like a proper Jamaican :) you give me joke Jenifer also Tina for her friendly banter at the bar an me Nar forget the cook Georgia dishing out the egg dem at breakfast! Amazing friendly service and beautiful view. There was always a nice breeze, but the AC in the room was also very efficient. The staff is very sweet, food is honnest and most fun of all: you get to jump from the cliffs everyday. Water is crystal clear and I enjoyed jumping all day with the kids ! For the price, this is a really solid choice, especially if you have kids.

Samsara far exceeded my expectations, I came with my 18 & 13 year old sons. The property is outstanding. I was upgraded to a vue suite which was gorgeous and spacious - I will miss waking up to that view everyday. The food selection is small but delicious, especially the Chicken Alfredo omg I could have ate it forever. Tina at the bar went over and above to make my son happy, he loved her, thank you Tina. I especially appreciated the front desk staff who helped me every time I asked, so kind. Elijah the hotels taxi driver also helped me no end. Drinks menu is fantastic and anyway we just lived the place. Unfortunately my son got second degree burns on the first day (I've holidayed all over the world and this has never happened before so be careful, Jamaican sun is savage). On his first day of feeling better I slipped on wet tiles on my terrace and sprained my knee and shoulder and was more or less bed bound for the rest of the holiday but staff did all they could to make us comfortable and I cant thank them enough. I'd highly recommend Samsara to everyone, there is something for everyone. I'd say be cautious to anyone with severe mobility issues, I struggled a bit bit it was old, lots of slopes and steps and a flight of stairs up to the restaurant but staff will help if needed. Absolutely nothing to do with Samsara but I wouldn't recommend Jamaica to single white mother and I wouldn't go again on my own to Jamaica in general but I was safe in Samsara, the general public it seems thought I was dripping in gold and attempted to extort at every turn including a taxi driver (not samsara) who agreed a price then said he wanted more and if I wasn't happy I can get out... very intimidating, I was only going to the local chemist to get dressings for my sons burns so I didn't go out again unless Elijah took us and that's only one example. Anyway, go and visit Samsara it's a gorgeous property full of gorgeous people who will look after you. Thank you to all :)
