We are on our last day of heaven at Catcha falling Star! Where to start? It is a wonderful small resort. The things that stand out most are the best. The staff is amazing! So nice, so friendly, and they just want to make sure you are happy! The grounds are beautifully kept. The buildings are very unique. We stayed in Plantain in the Banana yard which has 2 private cottages, and we were lucky to have it to ourselves. Lots of loungers everywhere! We were next door to Ricks Cafe, but the music and sound was not bothersome at all. All was quiet be early evening The cottage was delightful, bed very comfy, and Great pillows! Very clean with housekeeping every day. Great AC and good internet The cottages share a hot tub which is cold and very refreshing! Ivan’s Restaurant is just plain fabulous! Everything fresh, breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The bar is great fun and the bartenders and wait staff really great! Now, for jumping off the cliff… you do it once, and you are hooked! Kevin, the life guard, made you feel it was ok Bugs? Only a bit at dusk and only your ankles. We brought spray! The trip from Montego Bay is about 1:45 hours depending on traffic The front desk is amazing and I think would schedule anything for you We loved it so much, we just never left! Rains a bit each day but really cools thing off Enjoyed meeting the gm Cassandra, as she came the first day to check on us in our little private haven! We stayed at Catcha a couple of nights before heading to 7mile Beach. We have been to Negril many times and always stayed on the beach and have been meaning to go to Ivans for their night of the 100 candles and never made it so this time we decided to stay at Catcha and have the full experience before going back to 7 Mile Beach. We loved every moment! This is such an amazing place, so many cool, private spots on the cliffs we had a hard time deciding where to set up for the day as views from everywhere are amazing. The special, private dinner at Ivans on the cliffs did not disappoint and breakfast and bar service were also top notch-tasty and good size portions. We loved our room, the Sky Suite, views are amazing, the room is beautiful with a nice patio, clean and spacious. Staff were all super friendly and the water is crystal clear! You can walk next door to Ricks Cafe and watch all the sunset cruises from the cliffs coming to Ricks every night. We will be back again this December for a few nights before heading to 7 Mile Beach - this is the perfect combination if you want to experience both sides of Negril, West End and beach!

This was my first Caribbean vacation and I booked Catcha because of the reviews - they weren't lying. Easy to see why so many guests come back here every year. Absolutely breathtaking views, great hospitality, one of the best restaurants in Negril at Ivan's. They also offer guests free coffee and tea in the mornings, which was awesome because our cabin was oceanfront, right next to the restaurant. One caution: you can't walk to the beach from here -- actually, walking seems a challenge for most of the area, with busy roads and no sidewalks. But they have a tour company ready to give you a ride. I do wish it were easier to explore on foot. I didn't want an all-inclusive resort because I wanted to try other food -- this place is just next to a great **** centre (Kool Vybes) and other local fare. You can also walk (if you're careful) to Push Cart Restaurant at Rock House or LTU, both of which are awesome.

Catcha is a very pleasant place. Staff are friendly, attentive, and professional. Ivan’s is a great restaurant and bar; in fact it’s a bit of a destination restaurant, and not just because of its scenic location. Speaking of location….Negril can be a noisy place, with loud traffic and loud music, and Catcha is no exception, especially with Rick’s Cafe next door. Best to get a room in the back with an ocean view. If your room is one of the small cabins in front, you’ll be subjected to: loud music, loud traffic, loud courtyard, and loud barking dogs until 2:00 a.m. Otherwise, all good.

Room, customer service and the restaurant “Ivan” was best food around. Love the experience soo much that we’re planning to revisit soon. Same property.
