The absolute best BNB around. The FGH goes over the top meeting the needs of their guests. Could not have had a better time! The hosts were so pleasant, appreciative and friendly .Stayed in the cottage behind the building. So good, we booked another stay before we left! Thanks Luke, Elaine & Mark!

Staying here was a delightful experience. Mark, Elaine, and Luke were excellent hosts, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The room was clean and well-appointed. Breakfast was delicious, the location convenient to main street. An unhesitating recommendation.

We had a great stay at the Farmers Guest House--from the welcoming tray of cheese and crackers with wine waiting for us in our room to the fantastic breakfasts prepared by Elaine. My husband and I have traveled extensively both here and abroad and hers were the best breakfasts we've encountered--a different fixed menu each morning and everything excellently prepared and beautifully presented. The breakfasts were so hearty that we didn't even need lunch either day!

We completely fell in LOVE with Farmer's Guest House! The inn keepers (Mark, Luke, and Elaine) are the most wonderful people. They obviously love what they are doing, and made us feel so special while we were staying there. The room was cute and comfortable (as well as being spotless). And can we talk about the breakfast! OMG! It was spectacular. My spouse is a vegan, and they took such great care to make sure she didn't feel left out, and had meals that were just as delicious as mine! I would whole heartedly recommend Farmer's Guest House! We will definitely be staying there again next time we are in Galena!

Luke, Elaine, and Mark were excellent hosts. They worked very hard to make our stay a great one. Breakfast was amazing to say the least. We stayed in the Julia room and enjoyed everything about the room. The purpose of our trip was to just get away, relax and enjoy everything Galena has to offer. The weekend was great and we look forward to going back.

Great place to stay while in Galena! Within walking distance of the old downtown. Breakfast was fantastic and makes me want to go back. The young couple running the place are friendly and care that you are having a great experience. They deliver wine and crackers to your room each afternoon and even fresh backed cookies. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Look forward to back this year. Highly recommend this place!

If you are going to Galena, the Farmers Guest House is the place to stay! From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed with such friendliness. Mark took our bags upstairs to our room while Luke checked us in. Elaine then showed us around and told us how breakfast and the wine and cheese were served. Our room had everything we could have needed and we had two great nights sleeping in the comfortable bed. Anything that we could want was supplied in the room. Breakfast both days was delicious and Elaine kindly shared her recipe for baked eggs with us! We spent both days exploring beautiful and historic Galena and then walked home to a delightful wine and cheese spread that also included some extra treats. Mark, Elaine and Luke are so personable and a delight to talk to! We look forward to returning to the Farmers Guest House!

We loved our stay at Farmer's Guest House. The hosts are very welcoming, providing cookies, wine, and cheese and crackers. The breakfast is delicious. It was very clean, and the beds comfortable. Excellent service. We would definitely recommend!

Just spectacular in every way! I mean, Mark walked out and stopped traffic on Rt 20 so we could walk across the street with our luggage! The owners are enthusiastic, kind and wonderfully obsessive about details. We felt like a million bucks! We stayed in Annie's Cottage and felt we could absolutely live there forever.
