This was our second stay at the WH and again it never fails to impress. Wonderful accommodation (we stayed in the Four Poster room), fabulous food and wonderful friendly service by everyone we met. We can’t wait to return to this delightful hotel.

We stayed at the Wensleydale Heifer on Sunday night to celebrate my husband's birthday. We stayed in the Champagne room, which was very well appointed and had a Champagne fridge as well as Champagne memorabilia. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very light and had wonderful artwork by Lucy Pittaway. The dinner was excellent, as was the breakfast the following morning. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a getaway in the Yorkshire Dales.

Stayed in the Heifer room previously, lovely fittings and decor. This time the room was even more luxurious with a plush new carpet, and other new refined delightful furnishings. Good range of beverages, including chocolate, on the "comfort" station. The A/C was very welcome with the mini heatwave in the Dales. Used the promotion, "Spring into Spring" very good value, well worth taking up.

We have never failed to be impressed with the amazing offering and staff at the Wensleydale Heifer. Everything is of the highest possible quality and yet at the same time nothing is ever too much bother. We decided to cycle to the WH from home and back the next day, the team were so helpful, locking our bikes away for the night and even showing a great deal of sympathy as we went for breakfast and the skies had opened up and it was tipping it down. We had a lovely time at the Wensleydale Heifer last night. The service was superb. Everyone was friendly and helpful and very warm and genuine. We had the Spring into Spring deal and found it very good value. Food and wine were delicious, and the little extras that came with the package made us feel pampered. The Heifer is in a beautiful area of the country and we did a little bit of exploring. There are walks from the doorstep that take in fabulous views. Wonderful! We felt as if we had had a proper holiday even if it was just one night away from home. Thank you.

We had been given a gift voucher to stay at the WH, we decided to opt for the one day gourmet package, and what a lovely experience, with a warm friendly welcome and that personal touch its a day I’ll never forget. You can see all the staff have a passion for making you’re stay as comfortable as possible, we stayed in Chocolate Heaven ( a room for chocolate lovers ) with all things chocolate the room has a lovely atmosphere, and hidden chocolate for you to indulge, the food was delicious and well presented, and if you love your wine, just ask Vincent for his advice and recommendation, can’t praise this place enough and one we will visit again.

First time we have stayed at the Heifer, and really enjoyed our night away. Staff were excellent, very helpful, accommodation very good looking forward to booking another themed room for our next trip. Food superb, great set menu could have picked any of the choices. Hooray for the "Heifer"
