Tao's Inn

來美國西部自駕，在黃石公園西門計劃住兩天，提前一天在攜程旅行預訂了這家酒店，酒店位置離西門很近，距離吃飯的小街也不遠。自助入住很方便，郵件直接發過來房間號，不需要辦理。 因為是華人老闆，有很多國內來黃石的客人是因為這個原因選擇的，我認為房間設施還可以更好改進一下，酒店特色介紹的有熱水壺，但是找了一下衹有咖啡機。 床墊子是記憶海綿的那種，剛躺上去和之前的美式彈簧床墊不一樣，沒有特別舒服但睡起來還不錯，希望在裝飾和物品上可以更細緻一些就更好了～

房間乾淨，服務友好。有困難找老闆，總有解決辦法。

Check in is similar to an Air b&b or VRBO ,no contact with anyone.Property is small ,2 buildings with 8 rooms in each. Rooms were spotless,nice size ,comfortable beds with nice size bathroom. Good location to west entrance of Yellowstone National Park also local restaurants.

I very seldom write a review be it good or bad, but this one I felt that I had to write. Just before I was ready to climb in bed I pulled back the comforter and noticed that there was not top sheet. I wondered if they had just forgotten to put in on, but then checked the other bed. No top sheet on that one either. Consequently I slept with no covering until I finally succumbed to cold and threw the dirty comforter over my shoulders. I had never slepted in a motel that had no top sheet. I like a little protection against who had slept there the night before. I texted Freddie and asked him about it, and he said that they complied with Montana Law. Just out of curiosity I looked up Montana’s Law’s on lodging with that of specific interest. It said that motels should have a top sheet that turns down over the top covering 6”. Since there was not top sheet it made it impossible to turn down something that wasn’t there. It was about a hundred bucks less than anywhere else in West Yellowstone, but I will definitely spring for the extra money for a little extra sanitary safety.

Although there is no front desk service, we stay here without any problem. Considering the price we paid, the location is good (near the centeral area of west yellowstone town) we satisfy the stay at here for one day.

Yes, the location was great. But you need to know there is no office/check in. So you never see or speak to anyone. They text you and they don't respond. They did not care that the walk way was a sheet of ice and I fell. They had no apology or anything. We checked out a day early and asked for a refund which they ignored. Keep ignoring your guest and you will go out of business. Room was decorated nice but the beds were to big. There is no desk or table and only a small uncomfortable chair to sit in. The bathroom floor was freezing cold to walk on. There are no outlets within a decent reach except in the bathroom.
