"It was a very cozy hostel. The mixed share rooms have individual beds instead of bunk beds, so you don't have to disturb someone else's sleep, which is a big plus! The owner is a very calm and kind person, and he starts by giving us a thorough tour of the surrounding area and the hostel. There is a garden and a pool, and the kitchen is equipped with salt, pepper, and oil, and we could drink tea and coffee freely. It was also nice that we didn't have to buy a few condiments just to cook for ourselves for a few nights. The people staying there were friendly, and it's been a while since I've come across such a cozy hostel. I'd like to use it again when I visit Cairns! I really recommend it to everyone!"

"The 2 bedroom apartment suits us (2 couples) very well. It has more than enough space. The apartment was well equipped. The location is also good, very close to supermarket, also not too far from reef terminal (20 mins walk). However the wifi was terrible, very bad. The beds were just about okay. Also the tiny quantity of toiletry supplies bothered us as well."

"The price point definitely made this family room a good value, especially considering its location near the city center. While the room itself could use some updates and the building showed its age, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The musty smell and a few maintenance issues were a bit of a drawback, but overall, it was a decent place to stay for a short trip"

"Large rooms with great amenities. Helpful reception staff (leaving bags for day trips etc). Only issue was that it’s a 20-30 minute walk to the main *****. Other than that, great place to stay and great value!"

"Had a wonderful stay at cairns queen court! All the staff were super friendly. They always try their very best to help with our questions and provide suggestions to our trip planning! However, beware of the morning (ard 6:30am) house keeping if you wanna sleep in~ overall, I enjoyed staying there and had lot of fun in Cairns!"

"The front desk is not open from late at night to early in the morning, so you need to check the hours. It is located near the downtown area and can be moved around on foot. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was good. Drinks can be brought or ordered for a fee. You can enjoy it on the calm front lobby floor. The room was simple, but there was a simple kitchen. The pool jacuzzi was simple and not big enough to play in. I forgot my power outlet accessories, but the front desk kindly lent them to me. If you are an experienced traveler, I don't think there are any particular shortcomings or complaints."

"I think it's no problem if you go alone! I can't speak English, but the staff were friendly and I had a comfortable stay! The inside is spacious, so I think it would be enough for two people! I also appreciate that water and breakfast are free!"

"It was a solid stay would recommend, the staff were very well trained and handled the numerous travellers booking in at the same time. For the price point offered this hotel was an excellent price for the location in regards to the cairns CBD meaning a short 5 min drive gave access to all that the CBD offered"
