We booked our stay appropriately 2 weeks before leaving. We had 2 small children with us and after I had booked our stay I emailed twice requesting to see if they had a crib available. A few days prior I had not had a response so I called twice both times leaving a voicemail. Upon arriving we found out our room was going to be right above the local bar 'Buffalo bills.' I asked if there was any way they would be able to change our room as we have two very young children with us. The person at the desk reacted like this was a very inconvenient request. After a few moments they went to talk to someone in the back and when they returned they let us know it would not be possible (due to the other option being pre booked which I understood). The way I which this was handled made me feel as though I should have not asked. We paid for parking and then learned each time you want to re enter the parking garage someone has to go around to the front of the building and let them know and a staff will go out to open the door. Upon taking all of our stuff from the car to the room (there is no ramp (only stairs) from parking garage to lobby) our key card did not work. Once in the room it appeared Clean but on closer look there was a dirty bottle that someone had been putting their cigarette butts in. The bathroom door had chipping paint and the bathroom tiles were grimy. There was a large wet spot beside the bed near the wall. Overall the staff were not overly friendly or seemed to not know the workings of the hotel. There was however 1 cleaner who was very helpful and sweet. The hotel has an excellent location and provided sound machines which worked well to drown out any noise from outside.

Love the friendly staff and the location is super convenient! The manager is amazing, always helpful and friendly. My kids love the pool!

When making the reservation, we had put in a request for a quiet room. No response. We noticed the room was very noisy but went to sleep, only to awake at 1am to the sound of extremely loud music, which kept going, and going. We complained to the front desk. We investigated and found that our room was located directly above a late night dance club. This was a tidbit which the hotel conveniently forgot to mention at the time of booking. Second night- same thing. Loud music till 2 am. I lodged a complaint and the hotel’s response was “it’s covered in our terms and conditions” or something to that effect. I found that to be a little disappointing and disingenuous for a $290 per night room.

I've had the pleasure of staying at the Adara many times and always have a great experience! Every room has been stylish, clean and comfortable and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Bonus: I love the soaps and shampoo from Rocky Mountain Soap Company - a Canadian company! Double bonus: easily popping down to the mezzanine floor to go to the pool and hot tub or to Stonesedge Kitchen for some top notch cocktails.
