Crescent Lodge Guest House

We were welcomed by Gwen on our arrival who explained everything we needed to know, the breakfast was excellent all good quality ingredients cooked by Lee and the different time slot option is great as there is no waiting its ready for you at the set time, the room including the bathroom were spotless and very modern and done to a very high quality, the onsite parking is a bonus at no extra charge. It's a 10 minute walk down hill to the centre of the town but a bit of a slog coming back up the hill especially after a few beers! so a taxi was called for the 2nd night we was there, the town is lovely with plenty of shops, pubs and eateries along with all the historical aspect of it to, it was the pirate festival weekend so there was plenty going on during the day and evening with pirates everywhere:) Overall we had a love stay and when we come back again we will make sure we stay at the crescent Lodge Guest House.

Wonderful break, we wouldn’t hesitate to visit again! Lee and Gwen were fantastic hosts. The room was modern, extremely clean and spacious. Breakfast each morning was excellent. The location is perfect and having a free parking space was appreciated. No complaints at all, thank you so much for looking after us and helping us have a great family holiday.

This was a return visit and my stay was as good as the first time. The room was spacious and clean, as was the shower room. The bed was comfortable. The fridge is a bonus, with fresh milk for tea and coffee. There is a menu choice for breakfast and these were well cooked. Gwen and Lee are very welcoming hosts and I have booked again for next year.

We had a great stay at Crescent Lodge. The room was spacious, comfortable, very nicely furnished and with a spotlessly clean and modern bathroom. Breakfast was absolutely fine. Gwen and Lee made us very welcome. Whitby is a terrific town, picturesque, very historical, lively and near gorgeous countryside. The guest house is a slightly strenuous 15 minute walk from the centre, through a pleasant neighbourhood and a very pretty park. All thoroughly recommended

Spotlessly clean, great breakfasts, welcoming hosts. Short,pleasant walk to town or the beach. Uphill on the way back so we got a taxi sometimes but the taxi only cost £5. Great to have parking on site.

Amazing place, attention to detail was impeccable! The hosts, Lee and Gwen, were so friendly and helpful. They take such pride in their guest house, and nothing is too much trouble. I'd rang a couple of weeks ahead of our stay as it was my partners birthday and enquired if they'd mind decorating the room as a surprise. This was absolutely no problem! My partner was so surprised and very appreciative. The entire guest house was so clean throughout. Breakfast was amazing. Order the night before and your chosen time slot. I'm a vegetarian, and this can sometimes cause issues, not with Gwen and Lee. I had a full and tasty vegetarian breakfast, along with freshly brewed coffee. We are going to rebook for next year. I honestly felt like nothing was too much trouble. This is very rare these days!
