"I am very fortunate to choose to stay here in the end, I had previously wanted to change to a hotel in the city center. The facilities of this old castle hotel are very in place. In 2008, an elevator was added so that the pain of carrying boxes to climb the building was avoided. Breakfast is very generous, in fact it is enough to eat only the buffet on its dining table. Ordered its traditional English breakfast on the first day and couldn't eat a lot of it. The room was large, the bathroom and bedroom were heated and it was very hot. "Stayed at this hotel with my toddler while getting a new boiler. They have been so accommodating. Can’t recommend highly enough. Plus sides were dog friendly, last minute alterations, fast room service and pool for me and the toddler. Breakfast can be improved but it was okay."

"We arrive late night, the receptionist did our check in then help us to order food from town cause kitchen was already closed. We had some drinks at the bar and the barman was friendly, we had a really good chat about the history of the hotel. Rooms are very comfortable, cozy and with a really.nice decoration. Our breakfast was so good, all the buffet fresh and the staff really helpful. Definitely we will come back."
