"Upon arrival, we were allocated a family room directly overlooking the designated smoking area. The noise and strong smell of cigarette smoke made the room unsuitable, particularly as we were travelling with children. I requested to be moved that evening; however, the member of staff on reception was unhelpful and unable to offer any assistance. As a result, we had no option but to remain in that room overnight. We were eventually moved to a different room the following day, but this room also had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which again made for an uncomfortable stay and was not appropriate for our children’s health. More seriously, while in the new room, the curtain rail came loose and fell, striking my 9-year-old daughter. Although she was not seriously injured, the incident was extremely distressing and raised serious concerns about the room’s safety standards. We reported the matter to staff at the time, yet no action or follow-up was taken. Since returning home, I have contacted Premier Inn Customer Services on several occasions seeking a resolution. I was informed that complaints must be submitted within a few days of departure; however, given the nature of the issues experienced — particularly the safety incident — I find this response wholly inadequate. Hotel management said they would get back to me. This is why I didn't raise the concern straight away with Customer service. However this has left me out of pocket"

"I arrived on a stormy night in the lake district - on entering the hotel I was met with a warm glow from the log fire and a very warm welcome from the receptionist. As the hotel dining room was about to close, a room was sorted and the kitchen kept open for an evening meal - a delicious melt in the mouth steak was a pleasure after a 6 hour drive from the south of england, washed down with a welcome glass of Shiraz. The bed was very comfortable, the room had a large bath and separate shower cubicle and copious hot water. The decor and fittings were in sympathy with the age and history of the hotel, a pleasant change from the blandness of more modern mass market hotels. The staff were very friendly and it was a pleasure to be assisted without having to use automated impersonal systems. I will not hesitate to stay at the hotel again when I am next in the area."

"– نصيحة بشكل كبير! زرت اليوم في 1:00 مساء يوم الأحد للغداء وبصراحة لا يمكن ان تعيب شيئا واحدا. عشاء مشويات اللحم المشوي كان لذيذا نهائيا، الخدمة لطيفة وسخية، و المقاطع كانت كريمة بشكل لا يصدق. لقد كان فريق الموظفين يقظا جدا ومهذبا طوال زيارتنا. بالتأكيد سوف نعود 100%!"

"Absolutely brilliant. Clean rooms. Cosy rooms. Coffee and Teas in the room and easy to get them replenished. Fantastic welcome from all the staff, they were genuinely intersted in you. The staff explained everything about the facilities to us. Great breakfast."

"My partner and I stayed here for night due to visiting family. We live in Scotland - We checked in on Saturday 29th September. We were greeted by a pleasant young lady. She was very helpful and informative Regarding our stay. We were due to attend a family party on the Sunday. Unfortunately my partner became unwell overnight. I spoke to a lovely young man - Bradley. I explained my situation and Bradley allowed my partner to stay in the room longer allowing her to rest and feel better before our journey back to Scotland. Bradley showed kindness and empathy. You have a fantastic team."

"بقيت عدة ليال قبل أن أقود الساحل إلى الساحل، كان المقصود من البقاء ليلة واحدة ولكن انتهى بي الأمر بالبقاء ليلة إضافية بسبب الطقس السيء. - الفندق ليس سيئا على الإطلاق. - الموقع مثالي - بالقرب من جميع المعالم السياحية. - بالقرب من محطة المترو. لا يفوتك أن تذهب إلى أي مكان في المدينة القديمة. - كل شيء ليس سيئا جدا - بالقرب من محطة الحافلات. الموظفين كانت جميع الموظفين مفيدة وودية بشكل لا يصدق - جعلني أشعر بالترحاب الشديد كرحلة عمل فريدة. العشاء كان لذيذ - فطيرة في الليلة الأولى والنقانق وطازج في الليل الثانية - وكان الإفطار المطبوخ جيد جدا إنه مبنى قديم، لذلك هناك القليل من التعب والدموع كما كنت تتوقع (بعض أعمال إعادة التأثيث كانت تجري أثناء وجودي هناك) ولكن لا يزال لطيفاً جداً ومريحاً. الكثير من راكبي الدراجات الآخرين هناك يفعلون C2C، إنهم يرتاحون جدا ويسعدون بتخزين الدراجات بأمان."
