"I needed a quiet place to stay! The Gold Rush Inn did not disappoint!! Very happy with location for shopping on Main Street & parking was handy across the street in a visible, monitored area. The restaurant had great food & nice staff! Not sure about what other amenities they had; as I was there to relax, rest & grieve! Lovely, staff!! Kind & accommodating!"

"The name has changed to North Wind Bed and Rest (no longer serving breakfast). This is a bit like a hostel. Multiple private rooms in a quiet neighborhood home with a shared kitchen, living space and bathrooms. The rooms are smallish and don't have their own TVs but the place was very clean and quiet and has a washer and dryer for you to use. Everything you could need was at hand and a 5 minute drive to downtown Whitehorse. "
