Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa

The hotel grounds were very nice We came for an afternoon tea Very disappointed it was a special treat for 60th birthday. The cakes were soggy and also the scones were wrapped in a napkin which I don’t feel that’s very hygienic or the normal. I have complained after leaving as it was difficult to complain at the time because the person I was with suffers with mental health issues, I would not be able to accept or want any confrontation since complained to somebody called Sophie and was offered 20% off another afternoon tea £12 something refund I don’t think this has been addressed properly for a big company who claims have high standards so would I recommend this to anyone else no For company of your size, your response is totally inadequate The pictures on your website Show a lovely afternoon tea with garnish which we did not have and the scones weren’t wrapped in a napkins

Our special day was wonderful at Rowhill. Our wedding Co-Ordinator Emilia was amazing from our initial booking stage, throughout the whole planning process and the big day itself. No question was too silly and she went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Our food was delicious, the transitions between timings were smooth and the guidance we had throughout was extremely helpful and stress free. An extra little shout out to Moses who also helped on the day as well as all the staff who worked throughout the day too - they were all amazing. I couldn’t thank the team enough for helping with everything coming together, making our day perfect. To add to my review - I stayed overnight the night before, as well as 20 of us staying the night of. The rooms were clean and beautiful. We would stay again and make use of the spa in the near future.

Exceptional experience at Rowhill Grange. The service especially! The staff are so friendly and more than happy to accommodate. We stayed for two nights which included the spa package. They upgraded us to a Luxury King as we were celebrating a mini moon! We felt really looked after and were really able to relax. The food was great, both breakfast and dinner. Lots of options to choose from! Spa facilities were really nice, and the treatment we had was just lovely! You can go for nice walks around the hotel, as the grounds are just beautiful! We will definitely come back. Thank you to the wonderful staff who made our time here truly special. The best little break we could have asked for!

We ordered room service and food was lovely and came very quick. Room was also very clean and has everything you need. Spa was great also would highly recommend staying here!

We had our beautiful wedding at Rowhill grange on the 21st of June 2025 and I can honestly just say wow. Abbie our wedding coordinator was truly amazing from the start of our journey nearly two years ago up until weeks after the wedding even! She’s been fabulous the whole way through and has put up with my weird and wonderful requests throughout and couldn’t have done more for us. On the day of our wedding Steve and the wedding coordinator team and the rest of the team all looked after us and our guests so well and fulfilled all of my many requests for the day and made it just such a memorable and magical day. I couldn’t be more grateful for everything that Abbie and Steve and the rest of the team did for us during the wedding planning process and on the day, we are so happy we chose to have our wedding at Rowhill Grange and wouldn’t change anything! We loved every second of our beautiful day and thank you so much for the team at Rowhill and Abbie for helping to make our wedding so unforgettable! The food and service on the day was also exceptional. We love you Abbie, thank you for everything!

I first stayed here over five years ago. I thought the spa was wonderful and the hotel was really nice . I have not stayed in the Mews accommodation until this time, and I was a bit disappointed. The whole hotel, in my opinion, needs a makeover as it appears dated in many areas. The carpets are a bit threadbare and need a good cleaning. Small jobs would make a difference. The frontage of the hotel is mainly wood painted white. In many areas, the wood has rotted and is in need of making good. The bar area and restaurant are really nice, but the bar only stocks bottled beers. No beer on tap, which is unusual as a small bottle of beer is priced at £7.50. This could be a really top-class hotel, but it's too isolated, and there are no other eating options nearby.
