The photos don’t do it justice - it’s ridiculously spacious and beautiful. The furnishings are lovely, the bed is comfortable, and the linens are luxurious. The breakfast was delicious, and everyone was friendly and helpful. It’s the nicest Bed & Breakfast we’ve ever visited. We’ll absolutely be back.

The property is lovely. One hitch so far, we have no remote for a tv that is on top of an armour. The front desk is closed at 5:00 so no help till morning .

We were unsure about storm conditions during Debby and they were gracious enough to refund our total payment at the last minute even though the policy didn't allow for such cancellations. They earned our loyalty and we will certainly stay at Verandas when we finally get to explore Wilmington when there is less atmospheric turmoil! . Customer service matters!

This was my third time staying here. We had a difficult time getting in due to Expedia's issue but luckily all worked out and we enjoyed our over night stay. Breakfast was amazing as always

Disappointed . When we arrived we had to ring the bell numerous times to get someone to answer after being texted and told our room was ready and we could check in. The young lady took our info & then disappeared while we got our luggage from the car.I had to knock on doors to find her to confirm our room# since she did not give us a room number at checkin. Very basic amenities in room. No bottled water & no safe for valuables just shampoo and soap. Our room looked tired & and it had a weird portable bar pushed up against the wall. Antique wardrobe that was beautiful on outside but falling apart inside. The front porch had a hole from rotten wood where a high heel could easily go through and cause a fall. The only people we saw working there were a very friendly chef and a server who was not friendly and never smiled. The thing that surprised us most was the sign that said if you stained the linens there would be $100 charge. The linens were not high quality. If you forgot to turn in your parking pass another $100 charge. It is obvious this was once a beautiful BnB that is now just a corporate one that lacks love and attention. We travel extensively and have stayed in numerous BnBs. This was not one of our favorites particularly for the price.

B and B that is expensive for its lack of warmth The room was great and very comfortable and we loved the location. I was very put off by the lack of service and irritating policies and signs. We were driving to Wilmington and had made plans to visit with friends in Pawleys Island on the way up. The Verandas only has check in from 4 to 5 pm so I sent a message to say we would not arrive until 6:00. No response so I called them. They said I would receive an email from them giving me a link to provide my ID and credit card images. I thanked them and checked my email repeatedly all day. By the next day, I still had not received it. So I called them again. They sent the email after that call and I provided the images.They had told me I would receive a four digit code to get in after 5:00. No word. I called again and they responded that it was the last four digits of my phone number. When we arrived, there was no staff at all, there was no welcome packet and no access to ice so we could have a drink in our room. The only glasses were the bathroom glasses. Breakfast was only offered at 9:00 or 10:00. There were signs posted about a $500 fine for any spot on the sheets and a $500 fine if you don’t return the parking pass for a street parking place. They had advertised a parking lot and we were very confused when we arrived. Breakfast was a strange hash of Barbeque and fried onions and peppers at a big table with the other guests. We were seated next to a charming woman but she left the table because she thought the hash was awful.
