Perched on a hillside overlooking the picturesque Troutbeck Valley, YHA Windermere is a highly-rated retreat that trades town-center convenience for some of the most breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Windermere and the Langdale Pikes.

The stay was amazing with scenic beauty and facilities were very good. Clean and calm place. Would certainly recommend. Location is very close to tourist spots.

The YHA is situated between two lovely towns, Ambleside and Windermere, offering the perfect opportunity for a variety of walks. The staff were very helpful and polite, and the view from the hostel’s patio was breathtaking. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you – we had an absolutely fabulous time!

房間整潔，洗浴方便，可以做飯，服務周到，風景超讚。從山下的加油站往上要走15分鐘，路上很美。有多條鄉村小路可繼續前行，風景越來越美，經過幾個小村莊，吃喝方便。 坐附近公交比較容易暈車，時間多為1小時一趟。

酒店有自助廚房和儲存食物的冰箱 接待處還有小吧枱 窗户外風景非常好身處半山坡 就餐區域可以看到草地 房間乾淨整潔，浴室和廁所也整潔 可以放心入住，值得推薦。

房間佈置很漂亮，環境優美，青年酒店的公共區域有書籍可以免費閲讀，也可以給公益組織捐款。店員熱情真誠，體驗美好，唯一不足是隔音效果不好。

YHA位置在半山，走到山下加油站有超市和公交車站，shower和wc很多很方便，門前大草坪有很多露營帳篷。

I loved our stay at Windermere YHA. The setting is stunning, the facilities great and the staff lovely and really helpful. I stayed there for four nights with my partner and two older children in one of their private rooms which was very well equipped and clean. My favourite part by far was the amazing views of the lake from the outdoor area, where we would sit every evening to watch the sunset. I also really liked the amazing grounds with extensive garden to explore and be closer to the wildlife. Very recommendable.

First time at yha, windermere camping. This is a really great site with good views of the lake and countryside. Good bus connections and just over a mile to Brockholes activity centre. Super campsite or hostel for families, will defo be back.
