設施老舊吧，其他都還行，雖然靠海但是都是荒灘，見不到海水！跟想的不一樣！酒店有餐廳，飯菜還行！後面有高爾夫球場，有個小路可以過去！

Great building and location but room was tired.

Service was good. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed the food. Room was cosy.

Service is good but the whole left side of building is noisey from Generators or Boiler systems. Consequently you need to shut your window fully to subdue the noise but then U have a lack of fresh air ..Or make sure U sleep on RHS of building if possible.

Booked very last minute in a deal package as it had been recommended to me: I spoke to a lovely lady Michelle who booked it for me. I had mentioned on the phone call it was my birthday and when I arrived there was a lovely little surprise in the room. A nice gesture. The food was excellent quality, evening meal really good steak and breakfast was great plenty of food if you wanted it from a hot and cold buffet. The staff were all polite and friendly and the waiter who served the evening meal provided first class service. The package price included dinner bed and breakfast a bottle of Prosecco and a cocktail each. Room was clean and comfortable. Some parts of the hotel is a bit dated and could do with modernisation and some areas need a bit of paint. The friendly staff good service and excellent food made me overlook the decor. I would recommend and also visit again. Thanks.

On the 6th January 2025 , I booked a room for myself and my Husband with breakfast.I received booking confirmation etc. One of the emails mentioned that there is currently an issue with the heating system in the hotel. By this time I could not find anywhere else to book and was very disappointed that this was not mentioned when I spoke to the staff about availability or on the website when I booked. On arriving, the reception area was cold and we were informed that they had given us a heater in the room and it was on. The room was warm in parts, but the bathroom was freezing. We requested another heater and this was supplied. Later in the evening we entered the bar to be told the chef was not able to cook this evening so no food. This met, we had to leave and find somewhere else to eat,. The nearest place is we would have to drive. On returning to the hotel, the power points in the room kept flicking off and on. We were advising not to use both heaters, has this was overloading the system. The heaters were very noisy so could not be left on overnight, so we woke up to a freezing room. Breakfast was very disappointing due to the room being very cold and when the food arrived it went cold in no time, so not very edible, for which I paid an extra £20. All the staff and visitors had to wear coats and hats at all time. This is not what I was accepting and feel that I should be offered a discount for the inconvenience we suffered? I have sent them several emails and they have not replied to any. I would also like to say that the staff were great and tried their best under very difficult circumstances.

This is closed to further notice they have a booking in for my birthday in April paid over half went to make a payment to find i can't no longer contact them so travelled to the castle to find the castle is closed due further notice got no notification even tho from the Wednesday seeing a news article I was told everything was OK and open as usual these are lies as 5 days later there shut and I have already paid £4500

We went 5 years ago so husband and I decided to recreate our visit. Booked online with what looked liked a great January discount of 30% off hotel booking and 30%off food in their restaurant. Perfect or so ww thought. Evening before we were due to arrive i received anx badly typed and spelt email informing us that the hotel currently had no heating but rooms would be adequately warm and comfortable. No mention on website before booking or option to cancel as who would stay on the coast in winter with no heating? There are plenty of other hotels locally we would have switched to if we would have been alerted to this situation prior to booking. On arrival the drive way was dark no lighting with pot holes, at check in payment was taken which I was expecting a deposit of £200 otherwise again as otherwise suggested we would of cancelled and gone elsewhere. We dropped off our bags in the room then made our way to the wreckers bar for some food. £15 for a burnt and dry lasagne that looked as if it had spent a long vacation in the oven. Yuk. Room was ok we had a twin room and pushed beds together to create more personal space as we sleep. Room was freezing when we returned after our meal. I rang reception 7 times before it was answered and requested a extra duvet. This was delivered within 10 minutes. Employee was nice and attentive apologised for roomhaving no extra duvet or heater as was promised in the email. Bed was too hard but that is down to personal preference I guess. Overall we will not be back again in the future as since visiting we have read some horrible news related to this hotel I wish we had seen earlier

I attended an anniversary party here with my partner February 2024. The party was for a colleague of my partner and her husband and as we were coming over from Liverpool decided to book a room. We had actually stayed here once before probably over 15 years ago for a wedding of a friend of mine so I was looking forward to returning to see what it was now like! After our original booking we got a much better deal nearer the time in a sale. We arrived handy and decided to grab a bite to eat in the bar! We got burgers which were really nice and had a couple of pints. Our room was small but had everything we needed and we had a nice view from our window! We had a little walk round the grounds there’s a little wooded area we stepped into in but there’d been a lot of rain so it was a little boggy. The party itself was really good and the function room was nice! Staff were really nice and worked hard across all areas of the hotel. After the party we returned to our room and had a lovely nights sleep as it was just so quiet! Breakfast the next morning in the small breakfast room was nice although no continental but the cooked breakfast was more than enough. We had a lovely night and have even thought about popping over again for a night.

ZERO FOOD HYGIENE RATING!!!! Please look at the Wirral Globe articles from October 2024. The business owners agreed to a voluntary closure but continue to offer dining experiences on their website. I was there on 21/01/2025 and saw people eating food despite the report mentioning an infestation of mice in the kitchen as well as rat droppings in food containers!!! Please… for the sake of your own health, do not use this business!!!

Time to call Alex Polizzi for help........we had the misfortune to stay at Leasowe Catle this weekend. Their heating system was not working (an by the amount of tiny fan heaters they had purchased and were dotted around the place it hadn't been for some time or they were planning for it not to be for a while.) They said they had emailed people who had booked direct, but because we had gone through an agent we did not get the email. My husband suffers from arthritis so the cold was not good for him at all. The breakfast quality was very poor with a very long wait time, the light didn't work in the bathroom, this place needs help. It's in a lovely location and a nice building, if it was in the summer not the middle of winter it would have been more pleasant. The staff on reception in the breakfast room could do with some training and replace the glasses, juices, cutlery on tables, coffee & tea which had stewed beyond all recognition, etc. It was very poor value for money but if someone taught these people how to run a hotel it could be so much nicer

This hotel clearly now gets some bad press which in part may very well be justified depending on your personal experience. Yes the building is in need of investment as permanent broken lifts, out of order toilets and now broken heating aren’t great but there are some positives here. We booked a Castle Double for a last minute family get together. The room was on the 2nd floor. We received 2 messages telling us there isn’t a lift and the heating isn’t working but there is portable heater in the room. Can’t complain about the communication and then your choice to come or not and no nasty surprises when you arrive. We were checked in by a very pleasant and friendly young lady and our room was clean, warm ( the heater was already on) and comfortable which for £49 was an absolute bargain. Lovely big bathroom, complimentary toiletries, good selection of tea and coffee and bottled water. Standard double bed but comfortable and bedding was immaculate as were the towels. We had the horrible misfortune of being stuck down in the night by a vomiting bug ( nothing to do with the hotel as we didn’t eat there and felt poorly during our night out). We were in no fit state to check out the next morning so we were allowed to book another night and stay in our room and brought some extra bottles of water. The lovely male Receptionist assisted us with bringing up a Tesco delivery of some soft drinks and snacks when we started feeling remotely human. Despite the circumstances we felt looked after. There are some lovely staff here and after being an intermittent customer of this hotel now for over 30 years I hope it manages to survive its current issues. I am rooting for it myself and will definitely be back soon and hopefully enjoy it a bit more next time

Zero food hygiene rating. Didn’t pay staff for their work over Christmas. Vile, vile, profiteering owners who don’t care if they make customers ill or if staff are paid over Christmas. This place should be closed down. Google their food hygiene rating and see their old Facebook profile to see how vile they are to customers.

We have been coming here the past few years for a 'staff' afternoon tea. This year has been its best! The sandwiches were fresh and the scones absolutley delicious! We had an extra guest turrn up and they managed to provide a few extra sandwichs and a scone! The cakes were beautiful too and those that were left we all took home! Only concern was the heating wasnt working but we were provided with heaters! We were in the Star Chamber which is beautiful and was all Christmassy! Thanks Lauren and team, we can see how hard you are working. This is such a beautiful Castle, just needs a bit more TLC but we will be back!
