"Very dated Holiday Inn - tired, components not working or damaged, absence of staff - only plus/positive it has is the racecourse is bolted on, no other tea to stay. Stayed in the much nicer Birmingham City Holiday Inn last weekend - no comparison but very obvious IHG don’t invest in their employees or make them feel valued."

"I was visiting family and friends who live in the area, so I needed a hotel in Wolverhampton, and Novotel was very reasonable. Breakfast went beyond expectations and was excellent: very traditionally English and I really appreciated the strawberries and blueberries as healthy alternatives. The rooms were clean and fully functional. The location was excellent, if you need to be in Wolverhampton, and also intend to get a train, this hotel is likely the best option. The rooms do not have a working safe. Staff were outstanding: thoughtful, kind and effective, and I cannot thank them enough. They made this reasonable hotel with a great location (if you need to be in Wolverhampton) the perfect choice."
