Basic and no frills hotel in a prime location on Worthing seafront. I chose as it’s great value and the location could not be better. The place really could do with a refurb, that said, the staff are just fantastic. Such a warm welcome and everyone I encountered is so happy, helpful and engaging. So lovely, especially when travelling alone. Great budget stay and the people made all the difference.

Had a lovely welcome from the receptionist 'Shasha' who explained everything I needed to know about my stay and luckily got a sea view room on the ground floor which was a bonus. Room was clean and beds were tidy. I would recommend staying here There was also a happy hour down at the Bar from 5pm-7pm

We checked in at 10pm, and the room wasn’t made up from the previous guest. Taken to another room with ripped tissues on the floor and clothes moths. 3rd room ok. Complained and the hotel could offer a 50% voucher. If that wasn’t satisfactory I had to take it up with Customer Services team

Had first rate service. We booked at the last minute, the manager who was on reception was fantastic, a real credit to Travelodge. We were given a beautiful, large seaside view room, which was spotlessly clean. Altogether an excellent experience.

This hotel is very well situated with an amazing veiw. The rooms are clean and the first floor seaview we had was lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The manager ShaSha was really amazing and so helpful with my elderly mother. We stay here regularly and she is always very professional and friendly. Last time we stayed, there was a fire alarm and she was so calm and reassuring making sure every one evacuated safely and helping the less able people to safety. ( luckily,this was a false alarm) I would recommend this good value hotel. Staff members, Poppy and Sarah were very welcoming too

I really want to write something positive about this Travelodge, because the staff were so absolutely lovely and helpful, but unfortunately, there’s not much else. It’s a great location and view, being right across the road from the beach, but sadly because of that, the traffic noise is terrible (up until about 11pm and then again from 6am - not great when staying with children). The beds were comfy and the shower was warm, but that’s about it. The whole Travelodge is looking very tired and the room was pretty shabby. Peeled paint, pen marks on the wall and heater, mould in the corner of the room and curtains coming down from the rail (which was sorted on my request). The bathroom was pretty mouldy too, the windows were really draughty and the one chair didn’t sit flat on the floor.
