The in-room amenities are quite comprehensive, featuring smart voice control and a smart toilet. A minor detail to note: the hairdryer should really be upgraded to a Dyson or equivalent; hotels of this caliber have already made such upgrades. The breakfast area has a nice ambiance, and while the variety is decent, more options would be welcome. The hotel shares a building with the US Consulate, so you'll need to show your ID to enter the building when returning at night."

The whole balcony experience does not encourage guests to spend more time there? Quality and elegance of chairs, table, plant settings? "Choosing Building No. 2 at Donghu Hotel Tingtao for my first trip to Wuhan was definitely the right decision. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with towering trees everywhere and a vast bamboo forest. Donghu Lake is right outside Building No. 2, and seeing the shimmering water every day, along with the fresh scent of plants in the air, made me incredibly happy. The hotel rooms are very clean, and the service is excellent; the electric shuttle in the park is almost always available on demand. You can also book a visit to Chairman Mao's former residence and take a shuttle tour of the grounds. The guest rooms even have robots that deliver takeout very quickly. The only downside was the mediocre breakfast; we only booked it for one day and ate out for the rest of our stay. If I ever go to Wuhan again, I'll definitely stay here."
