Lots of food options nearby and there are few minimarts around, walking distance to wutaishan bus station and ticket counter selling chaotai tickets to the five peaks. Free public transport in the scenic area, you can stay in the scenic area without buying the tickets again so long you don't exit. Hotel service is good as lady boss provided a lot of advice on the attractions. She can help with the laundry if you want to wash. No bottled water provided and basically WiFi is non existent as we can't connect.

Highly recommended! During a solo winter trip to Wutai Shan, this was a great place to stay. The room was very comfortable (and warm), and the location is very close to the tourist bus station (very useful for those coming from Taiyuan or Beijing by bus), as well as the main temple area in the central valley. There are also many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The price was also very affordable, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Definitely I would stay here again!

The boss and his family were very enthusiastic and told us a lot of tips for Mount Wutai. We were very satisfied with the room. The view from the room on the third floor was super good and the environment was also good. Most importantly, it was clean and tidy.

The lady boss is very welcoming. I stayed here for a week. The weather was good and the hot water was plenty. The basic amenities were all there. The location was good, quiet in a busy area. Thank you for your hospitality.

The boss is very nice and hospitable. He can patiently explain things I don't understand about worshiping Buddha. The environment is very quiet at night, and you can see the mountains when you open the window. I really recommend it and I will stay in this hotel next time.

The service is warm and thoughtful. It was very late when we arrived, but the boss still greeted us warmly at the door and helped us with our luggage. The room was very clean. Very good hotel in a less touristy area of Wutaishan. But close to restaurants, shops, and the number 8 bus, which makes it easy to reach attractions.
Very spacious and clean room.
