"Traveling to Wuxi with kids, our top choice was Junlai Hotel Hubin. The hotel offers a dedicated ferry service directly to Yuantouzhu Scenic Area, and it's conveniently located right next to Liyuan Garden and Lihu Park. Plus, it's very close to the subway station, which is a huge plus. Our room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with excellent facilities. The balcony offered beautiful views of Lihu Lake. The breakfast buffet was rich and diverse, and the staff were all very polite and provided attentive service. Five-star rating!"

"Facilities: The overall facilities in the room are quite new; it doesn't feel like an old hotel. The bathroom has a separate sliding door and is separated from the bed by a wall, which provides good sound insulation and privacy. There's a full-length mirror. The hairdryer is very powerful. Service: During the May Day holiday, they offered a short fireworks display in the evening, which was very impressive and significantly enhanced our stay. The greeters at the main entrance were very welcoming and helpful with our luggage, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was a buffet with a rich variety of dishes. Environment: The hotel's public areas are very beautiful and upscale. There are also accompanying dining options, which is convenient. The front desk mentioned that Jichangxuan (a restaurant) requires guests to queue in person, but it would be better if in-house guests could make phone reservations. Drawbacks: ① The shower water temperature fluctuated between hot and cold. While it didn't cause a major issue, it was definitely present. ② The room doors are quite heavy, and opening and closing them makes a loud noise, so you can hear other rooms' doors. ③ The disposable slippers were of average quality, with thin soles that weren't non-slip. Every time I stepped onto the small ledge in the bathroom, it was uncomfortable."

"Facilities: I have to specially mention the showerhead – the water pressure and volume were fantastic, and the hot water came on instantly! This was, without a doubt, the most comfortable shower I've had in any hotel in recent years. "I booked a room using a voucher. During check-in, the front desk was very accommodating and adjusted my booking according to my needs, which I really appreciated. This hotel seems to be a very important establishment in the area, hosting business dinners and weddings, making it incredibly lively. Yet, the staff still managed to take such comprehensive care of their guests, which is truly impressive. Our room was spacious with a fantastic view – absolutely unbeatable. We also used the complimentary tickets for the Capybara bus, which didn't go far, but the service was excellent. Overall, a super great experience!"

"👍 A pleasant surprise! Lush greenery, picturesque mountains, and crystal-clear waters. What really stood out was how well-maintained the facilities are – everything still looks new, elegant, and grand. Breakfast was also very satisfying, a great mix of Chinese and Western dishes, with a wide variety and fresh, delicious flavors. We stayed in two room types, a Superior Balcony Room and a Deluxe Family Room, and both were fantastic! 👍 The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and enthusiastic, responding quickly to all our requests! I've stayed in many five-star hotels and state guesthouses, and Taihu Hotel offers incredible value for money! It feels like a five-star stay, close to nature, but at a much lower price than similar places in Zhejiang or Shanghai. Highly recommended!"
