We were greeted by Meena, who was very friendly and helpful. A lovely welcome. The room is basic as it is a Travelodge, but just what was required. It was extremely clean. It had been cleaned by Zee. The only slight annoyance was being very near (and opposite) the Starbucks so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the curtains open. However, only a minor problem. We were near a fabulous pub/restaurant The Robin Hood which was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

What ever you do, don’t ask to use a travel cot in this hotel. The one I was provided with did not come with a mattress and to make matters worse, the hard base did not lay flat so there was a big, raised, hard ridge in the middle. It didn’t look very clean either. There was no way I was going to allow my 4 and a half month old to sleep in it, so I had to sleep on the floor on top of the duvet with her. The room was also over 30 degrees all night because of the lack of air con. The towels were stained and the bathroom didn’t look well maintained. We will not be staying again and it has put us off the Travelodge brand in general.

The best Travelodge I've ever been in. Haylee had done a wonderful job cleaning the room and the hotel is very quiet. Bonus points for Starbucks next door

Tired hotel with no noise dampening between floors. Staff were inadequate and unpleasant. Breakfast box is a waste of money

Thank you for letting our dogs stay, the room was comfortable & clean. Lots of bird song in the trees outside including a persistent Chiff Chaff

Jon the hotel manager went above and beyond to help with our reservation. A mistake made from our side regarding dates was quickly rectified with very little hassle. Jon is clearly a well experienced manager who has the customer and guest experience at heart. Thanks for help Jon.

Lovely clean and fresh room after a long day to lay on a comfortable fresh bed after a nice hot shower makes all the difference. Top draw cleaning Zee, Tracy on reception was very friendly and helpful with local amenities… keep up the good work guys.
