"Here’s a polished review in English, natural and hotel-review style: ⸻ I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Xi’an and would absolutely recommend it. The location is truly exceptional, set בתוך the historic city walls and just a short walk from the iconic Bell Tower. Right outside the hotel, you’ll find plenty of street food stalls, the vibrant Muslim Quarter, and countless restaurants, making it the perfect base to explore the city. The staff were incredibly kind and patient, especially with guests who don’t speak Chinese. A special mention also goes to the breakfast team, who stood out for their attentiveness and friendliness. The breakfast itself was good, with a decent variety to choose from. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished in a modern style. I especially appreciated the Dyson hairdryer — such a nice touch to have even while traveling. And the mattress deserves a special mention: one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on, truly outstanding. I would definitely stay here again. My only regret is that I only spent two nights, because everything about this hotel was simply lovely."

Convenient location and a perk is they have a local tour consultant on site if you would like to visit what Xi’an has to offer! Amazing breakfast buffet choices too! I will definitely recommend Novotel Bell tower to anyone who wants to visit Xi’an. "Hotel is literally next to the entrance of the subway/train station and bell tower. If u need a night snack, there are many stalls and restaurants around the hotel, like the chang an da pai dang. Do note that this is a busy location, so you can hear just abit of traffic noise if you are sensitive to it.. for us, no issue and slept soundly. Special thanks for the staff, they are so helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious, and all amenities were working. Highly recommended. Thanks to all the staff!!"

"Title: A Pleasant Surprise at Tongpai Hotel Xi’an – Highly Recommended! This was my first trip to Xi’an, and after browsing through many hotel options, I decided to try Tongpai Hotel. It’s a relatively new hotel, and I booked it with a “let’s give it a try” mindset—but it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The hotel’s interior design is stylish and thoughtfully done. The moment I stepped into my room, I was impressed. I had booked a king-size bed room, and everything felt clean, new, and extremely comfortable. The bedding quality was excellent, which allowed me to have two nights of truly restful sleep. What stood out even more were the thoughtful details—the room layout was well-designed, and there was even a handwritten card from the hotel manager, along with a small drawing of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. These little touches made the stay feel warm and personal. My booking included breakfast, and I have to say, the variety was impressive, and everything tasted great. Another huge plus is the location. It’s excellent—just a 2–3 minute walk to the iconic Bell Tower. The area is very lively at night. There are plenty of food options just downstairs, including the famous Xi’an “belt noodles” (biang biang noodles), which are literally steps away from the hotel. Overall, I would give this hotel a perfect 10/10. I highly recommend Tongpai Hotel to anyone visiting Xi’an, and I would definitely love to stay at Tongpai again in other cities in China if I get the chance."
