As a foreigner you shouldn't expect too much here. The room stank of cigarette smoke (the cleaner smoked while cleaning), there were burn marks everywhere on the floor, there were stains on the towels and there was mold in the shower.
However, you should keep in mind that this is a small Chinese town that is not used to hosting foreigners. ;)
