Yifangxi Hot Spring Hotel (Xianahei Branch, Wanfenglin Scenic Area) Reviews

This place was amazing! There was a very authentic japanese style to the hotel design and experience! We had fresh fruits awaiting us at the hotel with a free yoga session in the morning. The hotel itself is a bit separated from the downtown area which allowed us to fully immerse in the environment. Breakfast was splendid and they even gave us a goodie bag on our way out!

It’s tastefully done up Japanese style with a touch of Chinese deco and breakfast was very delightful . 小張 especially and her team were very good host . The outdoor ‘Onsen ‘bath was great overlooking into the forest in Wanfenglin. Also well entertain by the house dog . Excellent retreat for those who want a serene place to stay . Was sorry that we stay only 2 nights . Highly recommended .

Advantages: Quiet environment, good lobby environment, suitable for rest and chat Disadvantages: 1. The shower facilities in the bathroom are simple, the shower head bracket is very unstable, and you need to be especially careful when placing the shower head, otherwise it will fall and hit your head, and there is no overhead shower head. 2. The toiletries in the bathroom (shampoo, shower gel, etc.) were placed directly on the floor. From the nails left on the wall, it seemed that there was a bracket before (as shown in the picture). I don’t know whether it fell off and was not installed in time or it was left on the floor forever. In either case, it is very inappropriate. There is no place to put the toiletries you bring. 3. The toilet is dirty/yellowed. I don’t know if it’s because it’s not disinfected or has been used for too long, as shown in the picture 4. The sink setting does not take into account the placement of girls' skin care products/cosmetics. I have few skin care products, so they are still very compact and inconvenient to use. Some can only be placed outside. 5. There are many steps to enter the homestay, and the road is tiled. The suitcase cannot be dragged directly and must be carried. No staff will actively provide help when checking in and checking out 6. I stayed for 3 days and there was no electricity in the morning on 2 days. I asked the store staff to solve it once and plugged in and out the electricity card several times to solve it. 7. The location of the B&B does not allow you to directly see the Wanfenglin scenery, and you can only see a small fenced lawn/small tree in the B&B from the room. Summary: This B&B seems OK at first glance, but there are many inconveniences in actually living there. It feels like the managers of the B&B only consider the external appearance and do not actually consider the living experience of the people staying there. As a B&B that costs over a thousand dollars a night, there are many areas that need improvement. In comparison, among all the hotels and B&Bs I stayed in during my ten-day trip to Guizhou, this one was the least satisfactory.

The environment is good, you can see that the boss is attentive, the food tastes good, and the portion is so large that two people can't finish it 😂. It is very suitable for playing with children, and it looks very comfortable. I will come with friends next time

The B&B is super beautiful, the environment is great, and the service is really great. After a day of sightseeing, I soaked in a private hot spring at night and felt refreshed. It was very quiet and comfortable to sleep at night. After comparing many B&Bs in Wanfenglin, I finally chose this one. It is really a treasure B&B. The service and environment are really worthy of the price. You will definitely not be disappointed if you go there. If I have the opportunity to come to Xingyi again, I will definitely choose to stay here. I still miss the golden hammer of the B&B after leaving Xingyi~

Friends, I strongly recommend you to take some time to visit Wanfenglin Scenic Area in Xingyi City, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. A scenic area called 4A, but actually far exceeding the 5A level, is just half an hour's drive from Xingyi Airport. The mountains and rivers here are beautiful, the hot springs are intoxicating, the food is unique, and most importantly, it is very quiet. Taking a nap is accompanied by the chirping of birds and insects outside the window, and taking a bath at night is under the shining stars. It is a return to nature (overtime work), which is the best.

It is a homestay deep in the Wanfeng Forest. It is very comfortable to stay in the homestay. There are handsome and good-looking boys and girls in the homestay (so much so that I think the homestay selects employees based on their appearance), and there are very cute dogs. The dogs are always actively working and are very friendly. The outdoor hot spring bathing in the homestay is very comfortable (remember to bring a swimsuit). The soup is not very hot, so you can soak in it for a long time. Unfortunately, it rained a little when we went there, so we didn’t experience it for a long time. I also ate the meal at the homestay. The amount of food was very, very large. The dry pot beef I ordered felt like it could be eaten by four people, and when eating, the dog would keep getting close to you and staring at you affectionately, feeling that you are its most noble god. So if you are a golden retriever lover, a Japanese garden lover, a slow time lover, a hot spring lover, a handsome man and a beautiful woman lover, I recommend coming to this place.

It was already dinner time when we arrived at Wanfenglin, so we booked dinner in advance at the homestay. The mushroom chicken soup was so refreshing and sweet, just right for children who don't eat spicy food. The service was considerate and thoughtful, and they enthusiastically answered all kinds of questions and introduced the surrounding food, clothing, housing and transportation. Soaking in a private hot spring was the most healing and comfortable highlight experience. Adults and children liked it very much. The breakfast was also delicious, and there was ramen for supper. The children kept saying it was delicious. There was also a store pet, the hammer, and the children went to find it to play with every day and couldn't put it down. When we left the store, they also gave us a souvenir. The most praiseworthy thing is that the brothers and sisters in the store are so enthusiastic. When we left, we asked them to pack the afternoon tea that we didn't have time to eat, but we forgot to bring it. The brother rode an electric bike to send it to the place where we ate, saying that he would send it to me unless we left the scenic area. I was really touched!
