Hotels in Lijiang River Scenic Spot, Yangshuo

Initially booked as a stopover before going to main hotel but I fell in love with this hotel. Even though I booked without window however the design of the room was such that it didn't feel claustrophobic and there's a nice tea corner that my friend and I could chill and chat. The complimentary afternoon tea was tasty and the cafe was cute. Just a short distance away from the main West Street, very convenient to head out at night for some fun and action.

Room was very clean, and toilet and shower were separate. Smoking was apparently permitted in rooms despite my request for a non-smoking room, but there was no smoke smell in the room and it was well ventilated with the attached balcony which faced the river and had pretty views. I had issues with the electricity tripping, but the front desk resolved this very quickly by giving me a card specifically for the power outlet in my room. The hotel had washers and dryers for clothes free to use for all guests and even an area with hangers and poles to air dry your laundry, but the time I was there, there were many insects at night (the hotel did put a warning sign at the door). The laundry also apparently closes at 11pm but I did not notice this until I was done with my laundry at 1am. The caretaker who did the evening rounds also did not chase me away and let me use the area until I completed my laundry. The hotel was located near the Longtoushan pier where the Li River Cruises end and disembark. It’s supposedly a 3-5-min walk from the pier to the hotel, but the area tends to be very crowded as all the cruises tend to arrive together (~1.30-2pm). The stretch of pavement from the pier to the street is also very bumpy and not luggage-friendly, but you may contact the hotel to fetch you with a buggy but they tend to be too busy to accommodate at that time too. Apart from this timing, the street is generally very quiet. If walking at night, i would recommend bringing a torch light as the street is very dark. It’s also a 10-15min walk away from Xijie (west street) where there are many food options and souvenirs. The hotel has an attached cafe and restaurant too if you just want to chill in the afternoon. It’s a little pricey for this area but overall a good and comfortable stay! The rooftop also has very pretty views of the mountains and the river, and a great place for some quiet time in the morning!

I chose this hotel because it is within 20 mins walking to the Impression Lui San Jie performance. There are also many restaurants around the hotel. I would suggest to the hotel to include a photo of your hotel on the street level location in your advertisement on Trip.com. When our transport reached the hotel, we couldn't be sure if we arrived at the right place. All the photos of the hotel are pictures taken from their top level. The English name of the hotel Miracle Hotel is also not mentioned on Trip.com. A bit of confusion. Apart from these 2 pointers, everything else is good. They even provide free self service laundry too.

The hotel was out of my expectation. Amazing! The hotel was clean and neat. The room was large and comfortable with a xiaomi control. The washing machine was provided with washing powder! Very useful especially after the days playing in the river! Tho you need to take taxi out or back to the hotel, it’s still a very good choice to stay there. You can even rent an electric bike from the hotel.

🏡In Yangshuo, stay in an ideal resort hotel I recently went to Yangshuo with my family and stayed in a great hotel - Lijing Resort Hotel. I must share it with everyone! 🌆The location is superb, it perfectly interprets what it means to be quiet in a bustling city. It is just a few steps away from the bustling West Street. If you want to eat, shop, and stroll, you can just lift your feet to get there. Go to West Street at night to feel the lively fireworks, and return to the hotel to quickly immerse yourself in the quiet atmosphere. It's really comfortable. 🏊♀️The hotel's supporting facilities are also great! Good news for families with children - there is a large children's playground with a full range of amusement facilities. As soon as the children enter, they have a lot of fun, freeing the hands of parents. Fitness enthusiasts can also sweat in the gym and keep the rhythm of exercise. There is also a thoughtful laundry room, which is a savior for those who are tired from the journey and don't want to wash clothes by hand. 🍰Afternoon tea time is a feast for vision and taste. Exquisite snacks, mellow drinks, and beautiful surrounding scenery make every frame as beautiful as a painting. Any shot is super photogenic, and you can easily capture the atmosphere whether it is a landscape or a portrait. This time, the experience at Lijing Resort Hotel is great. Whether it is a family trip, a couple trip, or a vacation with friends, it can meet your needs. Booking and Check-In I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy. Room Details We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Facilities and Services The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it. Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew. Location and Accessibility The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo. Customer Service The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay. Overall Experience The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo. However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness. In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.

This is a very quiet, clean and accommodating hotel. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. We asked for a King bed but it appears to be 2 queens (by North American standards). The beds are enormous! Please request for a non-smoking room if you detest smoking. We had a room with a balcony and view of the mountains and river. The other rooms had a tiny window, so upgrade to this room if your budget allows. There is complimentary bottled drinking water in the rooms and a complimentary drink upon arrival. The staff are very professional but do not really speak English. Bring a translator App. It’s very central and you can easily walk to the nightlife on West Street in 10 minutes. I would stay here again!

I took my mother to Yangshuo for a retirement vacation. The Puyuan B&B I chose blindly became the favorite of the whole family! I was warmed from the beginning of booking. The housekeeper knew that we were bringing the elderly, so he reserved a good room and asked about the dietary taboos in advance. Even the hardness of the breakfast was adjusted. When I opened the room, my parents praised the good choice! The diatom mud wall was comfortable and tasteless, and the oversized floor-to-ceiling windows framed the mountain view into a dynamic ink painting. Every morning, the family nestled by the window to watch the clouds and mist flowing in the mountains. In the evening, I walked with the elderly to the coffee check-in point on the top of the mountain, overlooking the karst peaks. My mother held up her mobile phone and took pictures non-stop, saying that it was like walking into a landscape painting. What surprised me most was that the details here are so understanding of the elderly! There is a special light breakfast set. The chef sister cooked rice noodles with home-grown vegetables, which are soft and easy to digest. Before the open-air movie in the evening, the housekeeper took the initiative to send blankets and pillows to the elderly, and also kindly reminded them that the ground by the swimming pool was slippery. The midnight snack syrup was specially made into a low-sugar version, and my mother nodded her head while drinking it. Although the parent-child park in the homestay is prepared for children, my mother also had fun basking in the sun in the yard and playing with the store's pet cat Doraimi. The pick-up and drop-off service in the county town is simply a lifesaver. When taking the elderly to stroll around West Street, the butler will come to pick them up with just one phone call, and there is no need to worry about being too tired from walking. There are charging piles in the parking lot, which is also very convenient for us who drive here. This family trip became relaxed and warm because of Puyuan. My mother said that she would come here for retirement next time, and she is already looking forward to the second visit!

The courtyard of the B&B is full of vibrant green plants and natural wildness. The breeze makes me forget the fatigue of the journey. The room is warm and exquisite, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the green mountains and green waters outside the window are just like in the painting. I was lucky enough to see the sunset. The comfort level is directly maxed out. The B&B facilities are also very complete, and the hygiene is impeccable. It is safe and comfortable to live there. The boss is hospitable, like a long-lost friend. He recommended super authentic food, and the nearby scenic spots are also cost-effective.

This hotel is the most satisfactory accommodation I have experienced in China. The owner is fluent in English, and the rooms are recently renovated. There is a very very huge television👍, a compact washing machine, tea station and the rooms are both spacious and clean, also in the room .
