There are many strange peaks on both sides of the Lijiang River, which is dizzying. The river is crystal clear, as green as jade, like a green ribbon, winding between the mountains. Everywhere is intoxicating. This B&B next to the Li River is also very good. When you open the door, you can see the landscape of Guilin. The scenery, looking up is Laozhai Mountain. The service facilities and hygiene of the hotel are very good, I am very satisfied👍

This Gongxingshe Xichishanju is a perfect place to stay in XingPing, Yangshuo. It is conveniently located literally five min walk from the 20 yuan note scenery spot. The pier from where you can enjoy riding on a 4 seat tourist motor boat on the Li river (120 rmb/person) is also in a walking distance. There are many restaurants around but not so many convenient stores. The hotel has a little swimming pool outside, everything is so clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and really helpful. There is always a choice of hot and cold drinks at the lobby (instant coffee is provided, though). Breakfasts are simple but nourishing (Guilin rice noodles, bread, jam and butter, congee, mantou, dumplings, shaomai, fruit). I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone who seeks peace and comfort far away from the hustle and bustle of the West street.

The accommodation is very nice and located across the Riverside and with a fabulous view on the mountains. Make sure to get a room in one of the upper floors, where you have fantastic and unforgettable view. wildest the accommodation is rather simple, it is very clean and the owner is incredibly friendly and nice and service oriented. He made sure that I had everything I needed, he even peeled a pomelo for me to make me try. Although he is not speaking English, he is patient with translator apps. The location is great - just a few meters from Xingping but very quiet and as said, with fantastic view. I can fully recommend this accommodation!

We loved this hotel, very close to the main street, it's clean, has great views & amenities. The bed had a comfy, wide mattress. We used the washing machine (free), the pool was closed (early May) but the viewing terraces were open. The breakfast was delcious, soup with rice noodles + loads of toppings & fruit - very tasty. Instant coffee or milk tea included. We stayed one night, but would have stayed another had we had the time. Very friendly staff, they allowed us to check out a bit later so that we could have a shower after the nearby hike of Laozhai Mountain. Highly recommend!

Their thoughtfulness far surpassed any hotel stay. They even helped us plan a hiking route in advance – the Osmanthus Ancient Trail – an easy, shaded walk with stunning views. Great place to stay just outside of the ancient village (other side of the small river). Very quiet and comfortable. We got an upgrade to a room with a bathtub and we certainly used it, it feels like a private spa. Service is fantastic and very helpful in arranging pick up and drop off as well as additional trips during our stay. Easy communication via WeChat. Beautiful place, with to stay extra time. A small minus point on the cleanness because airco (we think) gave some unpleasant smell (musty).

Environment: In Xingping Ancient Town, very close to the 20 RMB scenic spot, a few minutes drive away, convenient for taking the Li River bamboo raft the next day Hygiene: It is quite clean. You can tell that the boss and his wife are working hard to run the business. We originally booked this family room for the mountain view outside the window, but when we got there we found that the second floor blocked our view, which was not what we imagined. I suggest that friends who will check in later choose a higher floor, which should be better as you can still see the roof. But the room is not very soundproof. There is a lot of noise downstairs when people are jumping up and down upstairs. We also encountered someone setting off fireworks downstairs at 12 o'clock in the morning. The quality is so low. The boss and his wife were very enthusiastic. They helped us buy bamboo raft tickets and treated us to fruit. They were very kind.

During the May Day holiday, Xingping was jammed. However, the hotel was very considerate. In addition to arranging a local driver to pick us up, they also arranged for hotel staff to meet us and lead us to the hotel. The driver who picked us up had excellent driving skills and took us on a small road, which saved a lot of time. The hotel environment was great, and the boss's care was felt in every corner. The boss and other employees were super nice... It was like getting along with good friends. Following Sister Zhou's century-old ancient road and exploring the caves made our family have a lot of fun.
