Four Points Hotels in Yantai

This time I stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Yantai, and the overall experience was very satisfactory! I would especially like to praise the thoughtful service of LuLu, the front desk staff! When checking in, she took the initiative to ask about my needs and patiently introduced the hotel facilities and surrounding guides. What's more surprising is that she also helped me upgrade the room, which made my journey full of happiness from the beginning~ The upgraded room is spacious, the floor-to-ceiling window has an excellent view, the bedding is very comfortable, and I have a good night's sleep without pressure. The hotel is conveniently located, and the surrounding restaurants and attractions are very close; the breakfast is rich in variety, with both local specialties and Western options; the gym is also maintained very clean. Overall, this stay experience far exceeded expectations, especially LuLu's professionalism and thoughtfulness are impressive. I will definitely choose here again next time I come to Yantai!

The hotel facilities and room amenities were new, but there was a strong odor when I first entered the room; turning on the air conditioning helped a lot. The breakfast was plentiful and I would still recommend it. However, the room service was mediocre. We stayed for two nights, and on the second day, we went out sightseeing around 10 am and didn't return to the hotel until around 8 pm. When we opened the door, we were shocked. The room was exactly the same as when we left; there was no sign of it being cleaned or tidied. Even if they didn't change the sheets and duvet cover, they should at least change the towels and bath towels, and clean up the trash. I called the front desk to ask them to change the towels, explaining that the room hadn't been cleaned all day. She said she would look into it and arrange for someone to come. About ten minutes later, a housekeeping staff member brought two small towels—yes, just towels. There were no bath towels or hand towels. I reiterated my request: all towels and bath towels needed to be changed. About ten minutes later, another housekeeping staff member came and painstakingly changed the towels and disposable items, and then did a quick clean up of the trash. Honestly, this kind of situation is unacceptable for a mid-to-high-end hotel!
