We stayed at Grand Palace Hotel and Spa for two days, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Rooms & Maintenance: The rooms were just okay. They are a bit old and definitely in need of some maintenance. Our AC wasn't working properly, and the intercom in the room was not functional either, which was a little inconvenient. Service & Staff: What really made our stay enjoyable was the excellent customer service. From the reception to the room service and restaurant staff, everyone was extremely courteous and helpful. A special mention to Nithya from the restaurant and Chef Ravi—both of them went out of their way to ensure we had a great dining experience. They checked on us frequently, asked for feedback, and even accepted suggestions very gracefully. We had ordered a Tiramisu that didn’t taste right, and they immediately replaced it without any hesitation. Their attitude toward service and guest satisfaction was really commendable. Food: The food at the restaurant was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, including the complimentary breakfast buffet. The variety and taste were both impressive. While the food is priced on the higher side, the quality justifies it to a large extent. Ambience & Amenities: The resort has a beautiful ambience, complete with an infinity pool, children’s play area, and other recreational activities. It's a great place to unwind and relax with family. Overall: Despite the room needing some upkeep, the warmth of the staff and the quality of the food made our stay very enjoyable. Big thanks again to Nithya and Ravi for their wonderful hospitality! Would recommend the place for a short, relaxing getaway in Yercaud.
