"A Thoughtful Oasis Amidst the Bustle of Commerce My stay at the Yiwu Peninsula Star Hotel coincided with the grand opening of the Global Digital Trade Center in District 6 of the International Trade City. Amidst all the excitement, the hotel truly stood out as a rare haven of comfort. Its location is absolutely perfect, offering super convenient access to the newly opened Global Digital Trade Center – ideal for my exhibition visits and sourcing needs. What left the deepest impression, though, was the service; it was genuinely attentive and impeccably polite. Upon check-in, the lemon water offered by the front desk was a refreshing welcome, dispelling my travel fatigue, and the check-in process itself was efficient and handled with patience. When I needed extra amenities, the phone response was prompt, and the staff who came to my room always had a smile and professional demeanor. Returning in the evening, I found the turndown service already done, with a thoughtful bottle of mineral water placed by the bedside – a testament to their attention to detail. The room layout was sensible, the bedding comfortable, and the bathroom featured a convenient wet/dry separation, allowing for complete relaxation after a busy day. Breakfast offered a rich selection of both Western and Chinese options, providing a great start to the new day. In the fast-paced world of Yiwu commerce, this hotel is the perfect blend of efficiency and warmth."

"I recently stayed at the Marriott Executive Apartments, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I booked through Trip.com, which clearly stated that all guests from all regions and countries are welcome. However, upon arrival, the hotel failed to inform me of a discriminatory local policy that caused significant problems during my stay. Late at night, the police came into my room unannounced, creating a highly stressful and uncomfortable situation for both me and my partner. This was not only an invasion of privacy but also caused emotional distress. At no point during booking or check-in did the hotel provide any disclaimer or warning about such policies that could affect guests. For a global brand like Marriott, I expected professionalism, transparency, and care for guests’ safety and dignity. Instead, I felt misled and unsupported. If the hotel is aware of restrictions that may impact certain guests, they should be upfront about it before booking, not leave travelers to face such distressing surprises. I will not be staying here again and cannot recommend this property to others. Clear communication and respect for guests are basic expectations, and unfortunately, this hotel failed on both."

"The room decor was very new and comfortable, and the space was quite large! We brought the kids to Beijing this trip, and compared to the other hotel we stayed at in Beijing, this one offers incredible value for money. It's a fantastic hotel in an excellent location, the futian international market,many Arabic restaurants, transportation all are just feet away.The amazing staff made a free upgrade room with a smile with out my request.. although it was my third time booking at this hotel this time the check out process took more than usual time made me little angry . I appreciate their free room upgrades, courtesy and loyalty.. the Western breakfast was amazing...I would recommend the hotel to others again."

The breakfast spread was extensive, offering both Chinese and Western options, and everything tasted authentic. The staff is very accommodating, especially the Concierge, Mr. Will Liu. He was always helpful to meet our needs and to check in on previous requests. We really appreciated his daily insights and constant professionalism. Equally amazing is the housekeeping staff who always greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile, daily snacks and so sweetly decorated my room for my birthday. The gentlemen at the front entry also deserve our gratitude and recognition for being quick to assist with luggage and call the elevator for us. "The location was incredibly convenient, right opposite the East Commercial City in District 1! Shopping was a breeze, just a quick walk across the road. My room, located on a high floor, was wonderfully quiet. I tried the buffet, and the food was delicious – they even had all-you-can-eat crayfish! Plus, there's a mall right behind the hotel, making dining options incredibly convenient. Unfortunately, I was short on time and didn't get to experience the hotel's pool. I'll definitely be back for another stay!"
