Hotels in Shin-yokohama, Yokohama

I stayed at this hotel for four nights on a business trip, as its location made my morning and evening commutes to my office in Japan very convenient. My accompanying spouse also found it very easy to explore various popular destinations in Yokohama independently via the light rail. The hotel boasts a superb location; an airport shuttle stop is conveniently located right near the hotel, and there are plenty of dining options both downstairs and within the building. However, the price difference on Ctrip between rooms with and without breakfast is unusually large and doesn't seem to align with the hotel's actual breakfast charge. I suggest verifying and updating this so that guests can more easily choose breakfast-inclusive options when booking through Ctrip.

Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel: Clean and Comfortable, Despite its Age The Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel offers a clean and comfortable stay, even though it may be slightly older. While the rooms might be on the smaller side, they provide a good space for rest and relaxation. A particular highlight seems to be the excellent condition of the showers and the cleanliness of the toilets. These are important aspects of a comfortable stay, and it's great to hear they are well-maintained. If you're looking for a clean and comfortable hotel in Shin Yokohama, where a good night's sleep is a priority, this hotel could be a good option, even if it doesn't offer the most spacious rooms.

Overall, this is a pretty clean hotel. The room was spacious and quite new, perfectly adequate for two people, and the bed was also a good size. However, its location is a bit far from Yokohama Station. You'll need to walk 5 to 10 minutes to Shin-Yokohama Station first, then transfer trains to Yokohama Station. The price was very affordable; at just 208 for one night, it offered excellent value for money. Plus, the Ramen Museum is conveniently located right next door, where you can enjoy making your own ramen and explore the exhibits.

I've written my impressions of the hotel as well, so this will be a bit repetitive. I requested a room on a high floor with a good view, and they listened to my request, so I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was well-cleaned, but one thing that was a bit disappointing was that there was a lot of black mold on the side of the toilet remote control. Also, the cup in the sink was worn and scratched, so I didn't feel like using it. If these two points could be improved, it would be perfect. The bed mattress was also to my liking, and I slept soundly. I'll be taking the Shinkansen, so this hotel is really conveniently close to the station, the room was clean, and it's become one of my favorites. I've already made a reservation for September. Clean hotel that is well connected to shin-yokohama station and shopping area. Carpark chargeable at 1500 yen from 2pm to 11am, 200yen for additional 30mins. 15mins drive to restaurant that creates the first gyu-nabe.

I can't recommend the facilities enough. The breakfast spread is incredibly diverse and plentiful, and they even offer a carbonated bath to relax in. In the evenings, complimentary alcoholic drinks are provided, where you can mix your own cocktails. Complimentary skincare amenities are also a nice touch. For a budget-friendly hotel in Yokohama, this place offers outstanding value!

I used it for an event at Yokohama Arena, and it was close to the venue so it was really easy to use. However, the only problem I have is the air conditioning. When I used it, I wanted to use the air conditioning so I turned it on, but only hot air came out, not cold air, so I decided to open the window for the time being, but I try to avoid opening the window if possible, so it would be great if the air conditioning could blow cold air. Other than that I think it was really good.

There is an ice cube machine, which is great! But there are only 2 washing machines downstairs, I hope there can be two more. The staff at the counter are very, very friendly. Lawson is next door, which is very convenient. It's about a 5-minute walk from the station, which is also very convenient. There are elevators along the way, so you don't need to carry your luggage yourself. There is also free breakfast in the morning, which is delicious and highly recommended! Will definitely come back and stay again.

I stayed here for a 2-day concert at Yokohama Arena. You can enter and exit freely with a magnetic card (there may be restrictions at night❔). I contacted them to store my luggage before checking in, and by coincidence, they said a room was ready and kindly recommended an early check-in. They said they would store my luggage the next day, but for convenience, I left it in a coin locker at the station. It was very clean and I had no complaints. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity. As an aside, the liver and chive skewers at the nearby Jinbei were delicious, so I ate there two days.

It was good that it was relatively close to the station. Overall it was clean, but when I opened the lid to turn on the air conditioner, there was a lot of dust on it. I was surprised at first, thinking it was mold. There were various types of shampoo and conditioner for rent next to the front desk, and they also provided bath salts, which was very nice. It was close to the train tracks, so the noise of the trains was a bit annoying. The Hotel Metro sign on top of the hotel felt old-fashioned and like a love hotel, so I think it would be easier to use if it was more modern, such as by writing it in English. When I went out, there were so many people around that it was embarrassing. I've written a lot, but overall I'm satisfied. Thank you.
