We stayed in the traditional style Edo room. Trip.com was the only place that had availability of this traditional style room for us to book after hunting through many booking sites. The room was very spacious, beautifully and tastefully done. It has a tatami-style sleeping area but the material is synthetic tatami (probably for easier cleaning). The bathroom was awesome with two sinks and the tub with waterfall spout feature that cascades water down the shoulders and neck area while sitting in the tub. The hotel is quite new. Everything was in very good condition. The location is quiet even though it is close to everything.
LOVE the location. So close to Sensoji temple. The fantastic LIFE supermarket is just a block away. Short walk to the Ginza line which runs from Asakusa to Shibuya. The 24-hour Donki store is 5 minutes walk (if you love Donki, I don't but it has some useful purposes). The biggest highlight of the hotel location is that it is a short and relaxing stroll away from the most fantastic communal bathhouse (sento) called Asakusa ROX Matsuri-yu Spa. I love sentos and onsens and this one is my favorite ... so close to my favorite hotel in Japan. (We were in Japan for 5 weeks and went through so many hotels in smaller towns and giant cities).
Will definitely stay here again.

The normal check-in time is after 1500, but it's lucky that we can check-in earlier since our room is ready - we arrived there ~1230. We selected Panda room located on 4/F, so there is beautiful spot at 4/F lift lobby for taking photos.
The room is normal size as Tokyo's hotel room, we have space to open 2 luggage (24”) but after opened difficult to walk. However, we did not stay much time inside hotel room, and actually the bed is 1.62m good enough for 2 adults + 1kid, .it's fine for us.
We also booked the breakfast, and it's buffet style with Japanese and Western style food, so far so good.
After we checkout the next day, we kept our luggage at hotel and go for sightseeing and shopping nearby; and return pack to hotel for picking up the luggage and head to airport.

Relatively new hotel with modern decor. Really liked the vibes/design of the hotel and room. We found the room pretty spacious for Tokyo, def enough space to open two luggage. Under 10 min walk from JR Ueno (plus no need to climb stairs) so that was good for us with the luggage. Hotel is on the less bustling side of Ueno, but still very convenient for us to access the busy Ameyoko side of Ueno. We didn’t dine there but we always saw lots of locals dining at the lobby bistro, so I would think it must be pretty good.

Quite small place near the Asakusa. Price is not that bad, hygeine is also not that bad.
But the bathroom is too small for the tall or big man to stay.
Subway station is 15m away walk from the hotel.
Breakfast have the amazing quality, and various kind of food you can enjoy
Not that bad.

The hygiene at this hotel is impeccable. When you arrive you are not allowed to wear any shoes inside the hotel and you clean your suitcase before entering.
The room is a good size, with a strong shower in the bathroom. Bed and pillow is quite hard but it didn't affect my sleep.
I loved the onsen area. They have onsen, cold bath and a mineral bath as well as a sauna. It was great to use this after a day of walking.
The only downside was breakfast, there is a good range and I did eat some of the food. However, I just felt like when I'd read reviews online it was praising the breakfast. For me though, I thought it was avergae. I didn't think it was worth the money.
The hotel is a good location not too far from some of the metro lines and has a number of restaurants and supermarkets close by. Would definitely consider staying here again. The hotel is good value for money.

Good location. Near the train stations and Asakusa area. Plenty of shops and restaurants. And you can walk to Sumida river walk too. Room size is a bit small for two persons and two large luggages but manageable. Double bed is smaller than expected. But overall it’s reasonable price for Tokyo. Lots of amenities are provided at the lobby even the hair treatment cream.

Love this hotel! Very welcoming, clean, and comfortable. Room was spacious, with a small living area. Toilet and bath area was also separated. Breakfast was great, love that they provided yakult in the mornings, and ice cream and ramen at night. Close proximity to Sensoji also makes it easy to explore both in day time and night time. Will definitely come back to stay!

I am really pleased with the hotel.
Location: a few minutes' walk from the Asakusa Toei line or Ginza metro line stations, though do note that there is no lift at the exits closest to the hotel. Many eateries within a stone's throw away, including ramen shops that open till late as well as a Matsuya that opens early for an affordable breakfast. About a 8 minute walk to a large, 24 hour Don Quijote. And of course, the namesake Kaminarimon and the Sensoji temple are within view. There is also a supermarket right at the ground floor of the hotel providing even more convenience.
Cleanliness: daily housekeeping and room and bathroom kept spotlessly clean.
Amenities: there is an excellent terrace for hotel guests only, with commanding views of the Skytree, the Sensoji temple, and the Asakusa area in general. No in-house onsen, but this is expected for this price range. Toiletries are provided.
Service: very warm and nothing was too much trouble for the team.
I did not take breakfast from the hotel so I cannot comment on that.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Overall, it was very clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were also kind and I was able to stay there comfortably. It was easily accessible, less than a 10-minute walk from the station, and there were several supermarkets nearby, making it convenient for shopping.
It was also nice that all the kitchen utensils and tableware I needed were provided, so I was able to enjoy cooking. I was able to spend a wonderful time cooking for myself. It was also very convenient and helpful that I was able to borrow a charger and a straightening iron.
The facilities and services were excellent, making it a comfortable and satisfying stay. Everything was excellent, from the cleanliness to the staff's service.
