Xilemeisu（Furong Town Scenic Area Branch)）

It was such a pleasure to stay here. The host was extremely sweet and kind. She kept in touch with me a day before the arrival and also came to pick up at the airport herself. The location is perfect. Just a few metres away from the furong town making it very convenient to do multiple trips back and forth easily. It is also just 7 mins from the airport, saving a lot of time in travel. The host was very concerned and made effort to make us comfortable even though we don’t speak Chinese. She gave us delicious snacks in the morning with tea. Very warm and homely experience. Safe, comfortable, homely. The room is large, with all necessary amenities. Many eateries around. Definitely a great choice!!

If I can give this homestay 10 stars, I would because I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this homestay. Thanks to the incredibly kind and hospitable owner who made us feel like family. The owner, who was the sole caretaker of the entire house, went out of her way to ensure our comfort and well-being. She personally helped us with laundry, shared warm smiles, and even provided traditional medicines like hot tea to help soothe my cough. Her genuine care and attention made our stay not just comfortable, but truly heartwarming. The homestay itself is located in the beautiful Furong Ancient Town, a serene and laid-back town in Hunan Province that offers a glimpse into a millennium-old town with rich history and culture. It’s the perfect place to soak in the slow-paced, authentic charm of traditional Chinese life. I highly encourage everyone to visit Furong Ancient Town and experience its unique blend of history, tranquility, and local hospitality. If you’re looking for a homely stay where you’ll be treated like family, and a chance to explore one of China’s charming ancient towns, this homestay is the perfect choice. It’s a memorable experience that I will cherish forever! P.S. The restaurant just beside the homestay serves the best Humba and Bamboo Shoots. Our family loved the Hunanese dishes.

The hotel looks like a local owned. Hotel is only about 11 minutes walk to Furong Ancient Town, which makes it very convenient to go see the night light. Hotel is simple and clean with enough amenities to serve your basic needs. Not sure if the hotel is going through some renovation, but there was a construction noise outside the building around 8 AM in the morning. So, better sound proof is much needed. However, the host lady is really nice, friendly and, and welcoming. She makes you feel like family. I could tell that she’s trying her very best to keep her guests happy. With the price and the excellent service provided by the host lady, it makes up for all the little flaws in the property.

Stayed for 1 night and really enjoyed our time here! The staff were lovely and helpful and the location is great as it's a 10 minute easy walk to the Ancient Town making late night/early morning visits easy; there are lots of food options close by as well. We found the room to be clean and confortable with everything needed for a short stay. I would recommend to stay here.

The lady at the reception was nice and kind. Everything was clean and the bathroom was really nice. Would recommend to anyone looking for great place to stay.
