"The transportation of the hotel is very convenient. It only takes five minutes to go to Hakata Station by subway. Hotel facilities: There is a coffee machine in the lobby, teabags, toothpaste refill and daily necessities. The room has a washer dryer combo! There are also many convenience stores nearby 👍🏻 High performance-price ratio! Have the opportunity to come to the hotel first choice."
"I was troubled because I didn't know the password at the time of admission, but the response was quick and helpful.
The open-air bath was the best!
It was a pity that the TV was bad."

"Fortunately, I lived in an old house that was both cute and unique. The location was convenient. It was about seven minutes to the left from the station. There was a convenience store next to it. The hotel provided sufficient facilities and supplies. The front desk staff was friendly. There was also a dog manager and a cat manager. There were five private hot springs, both outdoor and indoor. The food was fresh and delicious, but it would be better if you didn't have to grill dinner yourself."
"This is a newly opened hotel before the epidemic. I have always wanted to go there, and I finally went this time. The overall evaluation is OK, but because we are lazy, we chose to stay for three nights, and it was really boring on the last day. The scenery is still worth checking in, but the food is really no advantage compared to Japanese hot spring hotels, and the breakfast set meal also feels completely insufficient. And because it has to be different every day, it was OK on the second day, but it was completely unacceptable on the third day. So it is still recommended to go, but staying for one night or at most two nights is enough."
"The waiter at the hot spring hotel is very attentive. After arriving at the hotel, the waiter will lead you to the room where you are staying. The waiter will explain the hotel facilities in detail, including the opening hours of the outdoor hot spring, meal arrangements, etc. Bob, the waiter who received us, spoke very fluent English, was attentive to arrangements, and had a friendly smile, which made people feel very relaxed and natural. The waiters here understand Mandarin and have no problem communicating. The room I booked this time is equipped with an independent bath, which is semi-open-air. You can see the outdoor scenery. The water quality and temperature are very good, and it feels very good. In addition to enjoying the hot spring in my room, I also soaked in the public hot spring in the hotel. There is an outdoor and an indoor hot spring. There are time limits. Although the hot spring is not too big and can accommodate 6 people each, there was no one during the time I soaked. Maybe Let’s all enjoy the bath in the room. However, I recommend that you book a room with an independent hot spring bath, because you can soak in the hot spring at any time. There are not many rooms here, and they are highly private, so you can enjoy a peaceful a**osphere. I booked a stay with two meals. This meal is mainly fish. In addition to raw fish and grilled fish, friends who like to eat fish should not miss it."
"Very cost-effective, with independent outdoor hot springs and indoor hot springs, and direct views of the distant mountains. Highly recommended. It is 15 minutes away from the station. You can call the hotel directly for pick-up 10 minutes before check-in, but you need to leave by yourself when checking out."
"Location - A bit far away from the Yufuin JR station, driving is recommended. Within walking distance of Kinrinko and Stained Glass Museum is a plus.
Cleanliness - Clean room and common bath area.
Service - Per booking confirmation check-in time is 1500-1900. Front desk staff was already gone when I arrived at around 1815. Took longer then expected for doing self check-in as the reservation number I have is different from what it is in the system, and the staff over phone barely speaks English so I have to use my broken Japanese to communicate.
Facilities - Cannot ask for more for such a price. Free bicycle rental service is great for non-driving guess to travel around Yufuin."
"The location is close to the bus terminal and the station, and the boss is so friendly that I will leave a good memory in Yufuin ~~ ^^ The breakfast was so delicious ~~ I will visit again if I go to Yufuin next time. ~~ Thank you ~ ^^"

Excellent
AAnonymous UserExcellent experience!!
The 2 storey house included living room, bedroom, 2 restrooms, balcony and private onsen! The view from onsen is incredible!
Kaiseki dinner was served at the main building in a private room. The whole main meal and beverage were in high quality. Breakfast on the next day morning was good too.
Staffs were helpful and polite. Free taxi round trip from JR station to the hotel. And just 8 min walk from the Kinrin Lake which is prefect for getting up early for the morning mist.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel overall was very cozy, particularly the onsens. Although all the four onsens were opened for all guests at the hotel, you can use one of them as long as you want because guests are instructed to hang a sign on the onsen to show that it is currently occupied. This is a great way for the guests to enjoy privacy to themselves, although it is opened publicly. Dinner and breakfast was included in the package so we did not have to worry about finding nearby restaurants. The food was delicious here! Would definitely recommend if you enjoy traditional Japanese meals to get the full experience. We had a private barbecue for dinner, and it was truly immaculate! However, there was smoke all over the hotel lobby coming from the barbecue so it would have been better if they kept the windows opened. It was also indoors so it was slightly overwhelming with all the smoke everywhere in the restaurant. But everything else was on point and breakfast was particularly delicious.
GGuest UserThe staff member who spoke Korean well in the review was able to meet me at the breakfast restaurant.
They were incredibly kind, and the other staff members were as kind as all the staff members I've ever traveled with..ㅠㅠ
Next time, I'll definitely book a trip just to go to this hotel.
The morning hot spring I took was fantastic.. It happened to snow that day..
I don't think I'll ever forget the hot spring I took while getting snowed in.ㅠㅠ
This place alone was a great healing during the trip I took to console my mind after my mother passed away..
Everything from eating to resting to sleeping was happy.
I'll definitely come here for a vacation on my next trip!!!!!

FFung ManI booked a private spa for three days and two nights at this hot spring hotel from January 10th to 12th. I was very satisfied with the hotel's service, environment, and location. It's also very close to Jinlin Lake or Pedestrian Street in the morning. You also have your own private room for breakfast and dinner. I highly recommend this hotel. 😃

66617The hotel is very beautiful, the room is also very big, and I booked a private bath, which is really enjoyable. The most surprising thing is the dinner. I thought it was just a set meal, but it turned out to be very rich, similar to Kaiseki cuisine, with not only various sashimi but also small hot pot, Wagyu barbecue, desserts, etc. I was really full at the end of the meal, and I felt that the room price was instantly halved. Haha. The Japanese breakfast the next day was also very good.
Disadvantages: The transportation and life around the hotel are really inconvenient, and you can only choose hotel dining. There is not even a convenience store at the door. The hotel waiters are a bit short of staff and there is often no one at the front desk. The heating facilities in the lobby are open flames. Although you can't touch the fire inside, the shelves outside are hot, and children are prone to accidental injuries. This is especially important.
Our room with a private bath is on the third floor, there is no elevator, and you need to carry your luggage up the mountain by yourself. If there is no man with you, it will be really tiring.
This hotel has about 30 rooms, which is relatively large in Yufuin. The location is a distance away from Yufuin Railway Station. If you have a lot of luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi. We walked for about 20+ minutes to get there, mainly because the suitcases are not easy to push on the way up the mountain.

SSpirit_stoneVery nice well kept traditional ryokan. If you are expecting modern do not stay here. Hotels like these are older and have been around for many years but are well maintained.
I love sleeping on tatami - I slept for 10 hours!
Unfortunately I felt a bit dumbfounded when the dinner included is just ramen. On the trip.com photos there are two photos of meals and I assumed one was dinner and the other breakfast. Maybe this use to be the case but trip/ the hotel should specify better what is being served. Especially in small towns there aren’t many dinner options - there is an Aeon (supermarket) a short walk of course if you’d like a bento dinner instead.
Also no wifi in the room. As an international traveler I had to up my esim data for the day. They don’t advertise wifi in the room - they have it in the lobby so it wouldn’t be hard to get an extender to the rooms.
The onsen was nice however I found the outside onsen made a lot of noise- I’ve been to many onsen and this was the first that ever made noise from the filter so it wasn’t as relaxing as it could have been.
Overall decent stay but probably wouldn’t go back

GGuest UserThe hot springs are heavenly in the winter. There is a jacuzzi in each room, but the public bath is much better. The staff doesn't speak English well, but since they don't, communication seems to be better. It's convenient, close to the main street, and the Japanese garden is very charming. The kaiseki cuisine and breakfast are also excellent. It's worth the price.
