Yugawara is a small hot spring town, by the sea, with a very good location, between Hakone and Izu. It is just not as famous as Hakone, and there are relatively few tourists, so it is quiet and peaceful.

I booked a total of two rooms based on the previous reviews; overall satisfied! It’s the closest to Atami, so I took the Yuyu bus near the station to Atami Castle and checked it out!

I made a reservation right away after watching the drama Minato Boss Coin Laundry. I was asking about the drama, but it was a little disappointing that the staff didn't know. However, I was happy to be able to enjoy Omcheon wearing the yukata that the actors wore. Although it is an older ryokan, it is relatively clean and maintained. The meal was especially delicious. It's a bit far from the station, but you can take the free shuttle bus.

A traditional Japanese-style hotel with a large room. You have to go to the public bathroom to take a shower. It ends at 12 o'clock in the evening. There is tea and snacks in the room. There is no bathroom in the room, but you can take a bath and soak in the public bathhouse. It is far from the subway station and it takes a lot of effort to walk there, but there is a shuttle bus to Atami during the day.
