Yundu Scenic Beauty Inn (Yulong Baisha Branch)

Yundu B&B is absolutely incredible! Choosing it was the best decision I made for my Yunnan trip. Both the ambiance and service at the B&B were flawless. The owner and staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. The room was spotless, neatly arranged, and decorated with exquisite taste. What's more, it was incredibly photogenic! Every picture turned out stunning – truly magazine-worthy – with no editing required. You can even see snow-capped mountains right from your room. While I didn't catch a glimpse of them due to the weather, I was fortunate enough to witness a beautiful rainbow 🌈 instead. There are also many popular, Instagrammable cafes and courtyards nearby, and Baisha Ancient Town is only a 5-6 minute walk away, offering plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and exploring. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Here, I found the idyllic, slow-paced Yunnan life I had always imagined. It's more than just a place to stay; it's an experience, a beautiful destination in itself.

A Serene and Majestic Escape from the Bustle Weary of the bustling ancient town, choosing to stay at Yundu Scenic Guesthouse in Baisha was hands down the best decision of this entire trip. The guesthouse is nestled in a quiet village, offering an incredibly peaceful environment where the only sounds are the wind, birdsong, and the majestic call of the snow-capped mountains. The breathtaking phenomenon of 'Golden Mountain Sunrise' each morning was a daily highlight, a magnificent spectacle we could enjoy exclusively from our room or terrace. The rooms are simply designed yet comfortable, and the facilities are brand new. The complimentary breakfast was comforting and satisfying, and the small gym was perfect for basic workouts. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel completely at home. I'd read reviews praising its 'peaceful environment, far from the hustle and bustle,' and it was exactly what I was looking for! If you're seeking tranquility while still wanting to experience the spectacular snow-capped mountain views, this place is absolutely ideal. It truly deserves all the high praise and excellent ratings. (A little insider tip: make sure to experience the evenings here! The sight of the 'cyan-robed little mountain' (a unique nighttime view) somehow radiates a wonderfully warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended! 👍)

My stay at this guesthouse was absolutely fantastic – comfortable and truly enjoyable! The guesthouse is run by a few young people. Although we didn't have many long conversations, their warmth and genuine sincerity shone through. They were always incredibly proactive and helpful in addressing any needs or requests. Adding to the charm is 'San Jin,' an incredibly cute and lively Samoyed. 'San Jin' often plays in the lobby and dashes around the courtyard, bringing a lot of joy to the stay. Every time I saw it wagging its tail and coming over to greet me, my mood instantly lifted. But what I truly want to emphasize are the rooms – they were incredibly comfortable. Having stayed in many guesthouses throughout my travels, I've come to realize that you can't judge a guesthouse solely by its exterior. It's only after experiencing it that you truly understand if the owners have poured their heart into the details. This guesthouse perfectly exemplifies that; its quality is hidden in every thoughtful detail. Staying here was exceptionally comfortable, exuding a sense of high quality and making you feel utterly at ease and relaxed. All in all, it was a highly satisfying stay, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, every employee was incredibly warm and welcoming. The entire check-in process was smooth and reassuring. A staff member assisted us with our luggage, showed us to our room, and thoroughly explained all the amenities. The room layout was very comfortable, well-appointed, and the cleanliness was absolutely impeccable! The soundproofing was also excellent; even as a light sleeper, I managed to get a very comfortable night's sleep. The service was consistently top-notch, with any issues promptly addressed and resolved – truly outstanding. I will definitely be back.

Having opened a year ago, this hotel is peacefully situated right next to Baisha Ancient Town, making it very convenient to visit. Taxis and ride-hailing services are also easily accessible. For guests staying three consecutive nights, they even offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off service from the station. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain directly from their rooms. The ground-floor restaurant allows for dinner reservations, and the staff, especially the 'auntie', are incredibly warm and welcoming. The overall service quality is truly outstanding.

On our road trip from Dali to Lijiang, we'd already stayed at 5 or 6 guesthouses, usually just for one night as our itinerary didn't allow for longer stays. But this was the only one that instantly won me over. I absolutely loved the decor and originally only booked one night, but immediately asked one of the staff to extend our stay for another night. Every single staff member was incredibly kind and helpful. The room was spotless, and best of all, they finally had a full-length mirror! Haha! Plus, there were adorable dogs. I absolutely adored this place! Words can't truly do it justice; you really need to experience it for yourself. I was genuinely sad to leave, and this will definitely be my first choice next time I'm in Lijiang. (I'll be raving about it to all my friends! Haha!)
