Hotels in Yulong Snow Mountain Scenic Area, Lijiang

I highly recommend this hotel to friends who don't like crowded places and just want to find a place with beautiful scenery and few people to relax for a day or two. This hotel is inside the Yuhu Village Scenic Area, but you don't need to buy tickets for the Jingli District. If you contact the store in advance, you can drive the car directly into the scenic area and park at the door of the hotel, which saves dozens of dollars. You can also drive to the vicinity of Longnu Lake, and let the hotel car take you there, and then slowly walk back from the village. There are many cafes and restaurants in the village. You can also order food at the hotel, which tastes good and has a good price-performance ratio.

The hotel is located in the Dongba Valley Scenic Area at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. The environment is quiet and simple, the architecture has a unique local ethnic charm, the room is clean and comfortable, you can see the spectacular Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and take pictures of the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain👏, the hot pot and lamb chops in the restaurant are very good👍It would be even better if there was coffee for breakfast☺️It is worth praising that the hotel's housekeepers, the handsome brother Xiao Wang and the gentle and beautiful sister Xiao Guo, are very enthusiastic and thoughtful. They helped us with our luggage, arranged meals and travel in advance, and prepared warm babies for us to use on the snow-capped mountains. They also helped to express two bamboo poles home😊😊Thank you so much for making us feel the hospitality and friendliness of Yunnan😊Finally, they gave us a small gift with local characteristics when we left🎁A very good trip to Lijiang👍I will come again if I have the chance~

The summer vacation trip I'd booked nearly two months in advance finally arrived. We flew directly to Lijiang and landed in the tranquil Yuhu Village at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. I was eagerly anticipating my stay at the B&B. Since we were traveling with my mother and child, we wanted to keep them all in one place, so we booked a Pumicestone duplex with snow-capped mountain views. It had two king-sized beds, one upstairs and one downstairs! The cleanliness was excellent, the amenities were complete, and the humidifier was a must. The service was also impeccable, with afternoon tea and breakfast meticulously prepared. After landing and experiencing altitude sickness in the middle of the night, the staff immediately delivered oxygen and even arranged a car for us after we left the hotel!

One of the most special hotels we’ve experienced in our China trip. 小邰 Xiao Tai was super helpful throughout our stay from arranging airport pick up to nearby activities like Naxi family visits, complimentary photoshoots, campfire experience and mountain sunrise trips. He even delivered the afternoon tea set to our room since we arrived late from the airport! We really enjoyed our stay because of him. The room is super clean and has floor heating if it gets cold. The staff provides water, snacks and pot noodles free of charge every day. Breakfast was lovely especially the noodles and chicken hot pot! You can also ask for medicines in case you experience high altitude sickness for free.

Both hotels we stayed at in Lijiang this trip come highly recommended. We first checked into the Grand Hyatt Lijiang (2000m altitude) to help us acclimatize (Photos 1-6). The hotel boasts beautiful scenery, and they offered complimentary afternoon tea, free fishing, and chess. There were also many animals on the property, which the kids absolutely loved! Afterward, we transferred to Jinmao Puxiu (3200m altitude) (Photos 7-14). The adults experienced no altitude sickness symptoms, though the kids needed a couple of puffs of oxygen. The room was very spacious, and they even provided complimentary red wine. The large balcony offered direct views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, allowing us to witness the stunning 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' phenomenon right from our room in the morning. The hotel offered complimentary handicraft activities and paid stargazing events. The food was also excellent; we particularly enjoyed the Guoqiao Mixian (Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles) with its incredibly flavorful broth. We were extremely satisfied with this trip's travel photoshoot by Bojue. The photos turned out absolutely stunning! The photographer was excellent at guiding us and choosing locations. The entire process, from changing into outfits to changing out, took less than an hour – their efficiency was incredibly high, and the success rate for getting great shots was phenomenal! True to Bojue's reputation, they never disappoint! ✌️

Amazing view of the mountains from any spot inside the hotel. Love the design of tatami bed on 2nd floor, it feels very cozy and super helpful staff. They even organised a session to try local rose tea, grilled potatoes, snacks and local 釀酒 after dinner time.

Just returned from Yulong Village, I must write a good review for Yuxue Yard 💖 Who will come to Yunnan and live here, I will be sad ok? It was beautiful as soon as I entered the yard! During the day, it is a fresh and refined white house 🏠 with thatched roof, small pond and green plants 🌿 Sitting on the terrace, Yulong Snow Mountain is in front of you, like a private observation deck ⛰️ The lights are brighter at night, and the warm yellow halo makes the courtyard warm and atmospheric. Drink tea and chat here. I feel that time has slowed down ～ The room is simple log wind, the big windows are superb! In the morning, the sun is directly covered with the bed, and you can watch the stars at night. The bedding is soft and more comfortable than at home! The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the supplies are also very textured. The details control ecstasy 👏 The boss and the clerk are too enthusiastic! Like family, I will make local tea when I arrive. I also recommend super authentic Naxi cuisine. I will take us to the village and tell local stories. It is not the kind of business perfunctory at all. I really want the guests to play well. 💗 Very close to Yulong Snow Mountain and Blue Moon Valley 🚗, but avoiding the noise of the scenic spot, perfect balance! Play the scenic spots during the day, return to the yard to enjoy the tranquility at night, and you can also encounter cattle and horses while walking in the village. Listen to the ancient tone of Naxi. This is the relaxation that Yunnan should have. ～ In the days of Yuxue yard, not staying in an inn, but living a life into a poem 📖 Next time I come to Yunnan, I don’t even have to pack my luggage, so I go directly here! I want to experience the ”longing life”, it’s right to choose it 💯

We absolutely loved our stay at the Meteorite Snow Mountain Resort! We wished that we had more days here. We were being pampered with the most delicious afternoon coffee and snacks (see photos below). We enjoyed visiting the nearby Joseph Rock’s Former Residence, the beautiful Jade Lake and simply walking around the Yuhu Village itself. We watched both the sunset in the evening and sunrise the next morning while ”being on the top of the world” and standing on the rooftop of the facility :-)

The hotel enjoys a great location, with unobstructed views of Lijiang River in front and the mountains behind, including the main peak of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Parking is available. It's also within walking distance of the main street. Dragon Girl Lake is a 10-minute drive away.

I stayed at a newly opened B&B in Yuhu Village. The decor is tasteful and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. The owners are warm and hospitable. The children had afternoon tea and cake every day, which was very enjoyable. I will stay here again next time I go to Lijiang! Yuhu Village is absolutely beautiful! I've been to Lijiang to see the mountains and Dali to see the sea. I prefer staying in Lijiang. Lijiang is cooler this season, perfect for escaping the summer heat, but it might also be because it rained during the days I was there, which made it especially cool.
