The hotel is rather dark and far from the bus station, requiring a certain distance to walk, but the room hygiene and overall service quality are acceptable and I would book again if there is a chance!

Stayed overnight. Good option for "sleeping". The biggest plus in such heat is air conditioning! If you stay for a long time - not an option. No refrigerator, kettle and bottled water (not provided)

Decent hotel located a short tram ride into the center of town. The beds are cheap quality though. Mine was broken and tilted to one side. They offered to change rooms but I was too tired to pack my bag and move.

A good location, very convenient to the airport shuttle bus station. The bus costs 8 euros, operates every 30 minutes, and the ride takes 30 minutes. When you exit the bus station, you can only go left or right. Go left. After 7-8 minutes, you come to an intersection. This time, go right. After 6 minutes walking, on the left you will see an INA gas station- directly across, on your right you will see a building that says, “HOTEL” in big letters on the building side. That is the Orient Hotel. The bathroom facilities were good. The bed was comfortable. The WiFi was weak. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the shopping center where there are places to get food and there is also a Konzum supermarket. The heart of the city is another 10 minutes past the shopping center. It’s all an easy walk. I found the hotel very dreary. It’s very dark inside.

We dropped in to check if they have a room available in mid morning and their bother was that we couldn't occupy the room straight away and that they had limited rooms available thus there was not a lot of choice. The room they allocated us was spacious and comfortable, very well heated and clean. For breakfast there was ample choice plus freshly backed pastries. The members of the staff were extremely nice and eager to serve with a smile. The Hotel also offers parking spaces within it's grounds. The hotel is located within walking distance from the centre via an underground shopping centre that goes and crosses below the train rails and has an exit next to the train station.

Don't be disappointed about the surface of the building, because inside is looking fresh renovated and clean. 24/7 reception and parking in front of the entrance including video surveillance. Between historical city centre and hotel there is the main train way, best you cross through Central Station and calculate 15 minutes by walking. Good choice!

First of all the location. It is walking distance from the bus station and similar to the railway (the hotel is actually positioned next to the (currently) closed railway museum. To get to the train station you have to go under an underpass, which is not at all dark or dangerous; bars, cafés, shops. That said, you are the 'wrong' side of the tracks and some people might prefer to be nearer to the old/upper town. As the tram service is so cheap - stops at the bus and train stations, that is not a problem. In any case, you could walk to the old town - it's a decent stroll but ten you can enjoy the gardens, flowers, some of the historic buildings on the way there. I guess it depends on how long you have. The accommodation itself - the staff were all friendly, the inside is probably much nicer than the outside appearance and it is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. My single was perfect for a solo traveller and the extras like bathroom, tv, wifi all met expectations. I'd happily stay here again. A quiet place, barely off the beaten track, but near enough to transport connections. I was happy all round.

It is hard to find because of the poor signage. However, I really enjoyed my stay at Orient Express. My single room is big enough, clean and comfortable. I asked for extra pillow and hangers and they were placed in my room when I went out. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and only EUR10 extra. I like the location because it is a walking distance to the bus terminal and train station. Good air conditioning, double glazed window and comfortable bed.

We suggest that you get to this hotel on public transport. Parking spaces are very few, you might have to look for parking further afield. The fruit they gave us was either unripen or too ripe. Staffs are not nice.

Small 3-star hotel with tastefully furnished and clean rooms, free parking and WiFi. The heating was good. The staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast excellent and varied, the location good ... everything was the best. I will definitely be back here again!

The hotel is located close to the bus and train stations - it's convenient for people who travel by that kinds transport. Nice staff, especially receptionist Darko. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, no problems with the bathroom. It was also nice to see welcoming TV screen with your name. Wi-fi speed was ok - 13,5 Mb/s of download, 8,64 Mb/s of upload. Most probably, I will stay there again, when I go to Zagreb the next time. As for me, there was nothing to complain about. I can't say anything about breakfasts because I was only one night and left before breakfast time, also I can't say anything about parking because I don't drive.
