Amazing Place to stay in Zakinthos islands. Best choice of the trip

Not 5 star unfortunately. And we have stayed in plenty of resorts/places all over the world that have 5 star rating. It’s annoying when it’s advertised as so but when you get here, It really isn’t. The concept is good but the execution has not been delivered. 5 star hotels have: Room service High quality bed linen Turn down service High quality drinks Varied daytime activities High end entertainment of an evening Waiter service from your sun loungers Areas cleaned and looked after. This place doesn’t have any of that unfortunately. It’s not a bad place to stay but you are very limited as to what it offers. There is only one pool (which is fine) but the kids pool isn’t a kids pool. It’s tiny to be honest, more like a plunge pool. Can sometimes get overcrowded also. Food is ok, as with any all inclusive, it’s gets a bit repetitive There is NO daytime activities, apart from yoga and pilates. Evening entertainment is very dull also. No atmosphere at all. No events team at all. The room is cleaned but can tell that is reused rather than refreshed a lot of the times. Very musty smells in room also. The grounds of hotel are unfortunately not well kept and quite barren. Some staff are lovely, some seem fed up already! Why have music inside? Why not have it outside where the acoustics would be much better and everyone can hear the music. Everyone always crammed together on top bar outside. People pay fortunes for a resort like this and it’s disappointing when it’s a like it or lump it kind of attitude. What’s disappointing is the fact that it’s advertised as a 5 star when clearly it’s not. But I think that’s happening quite a lot these days with these holiday companies advertising something it clearly isn’t.

Everything about our stay was magical — from the lush gardens to the golden sandy beach. We woke up to birdsong every morning and fell asleep to the sound of gentle waves. The staff were always smiling and made us feel genuinely welcome. This is exactly what a relaxing Greek island holiday should feel like.

Just got back from Domes Zante. Would recommend, we had a brilliant stay. Upon arrival we where greated by Wayne who took us to are room and carried are cases brilliant service showed us around the room and was a big help. Staff where fantastic and any problems or questions where quick to help. Hotel was very clean, tidy and bed was made every morning with fresh towels. Very comfortable nights sleep. Restaurants where very good we eat in the 4 restaurants and they were brilliant highly recommended book in advance. Couldn’t pick a favourite was all amazing. We went out to shipwreck cove on the Wednesday was well worth it. Got sea sick on the way out but was fine on the way back due to a couple swim stops in clear water brilliant. Beach was lovely the views are unreal and clear waters, to the left of the hotel there was protected and roped off areas for the sea turtles to lay there eggs. At 9:00pm that side of the beach is closed off so they can come in. To the right had side you have bars and you can walk along to laganas ***** which is about 15 min walk away. The hotel was a nice spot away from the ***** and was all protected. The only thing I would say it would be nice to have some better evening entertainment. They had some but not every night. And the other thing I would say is a bigger pool but I know they can’t as it’s near to the nature park. It can get busy But on the whole I would definitely come back to that hotel and highly recommend it to any one.
