The hotel is situated next to the sea between the 2 beautiful sandy beaches of St. Nicholas. For nature lovers, Gerakes beach is 3 km away - a famous turtle nesting beach with impressive sandstone and limestone cliffs. Argassi, a tourist town full of pubs, bars, restaurants and a variety of nightlife entertainment options is also close to the hotel, around 15 minutes by car. Guests will also find restaurants, bars and shops in the immediate vicinity, while links to the public transport network are to be found 500 m away. Zakynthos is approximately 15 km from the beach hotel and Zakynthos International Airport is around 20 km away. The hotel is a small building with a friendly atmosphere. Guests can expect a mix of modern and traditional styles, complete with facilities and services such as pool bar, restaurant, Internet access, a childrens playground and a car park. Further facilities include a lobby, safes in room, currency exchange facilities and WLAN Internet access (fees apply). All rooms of the hotel are bright, simply decorated and furnished, quiet and relaxing. Each room has a shower, twin beds,(few doubles)phone,TV, safe, Internet access, air conditioning and a fridge. A balcony or terrace also features in all rooms as standard and some rooms also provide a kitchenette. There is an outdoor swimming pool with poolside snack bar and sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Guests may also relax in the jacuzzi. Sun loungers and parasols can also be hired for a fee on the nearby sandy beach of St. Nicholas. The hotel offers bed and breakfast stays, with a continental breakfast buffet served in the breakfast room each morning. From the airport, follow the signs to the only road towards Vasilikos town.

Very nice and friendly hotel. I liked the area a lot, it is closed to many nice beaches, where you can reach by foot. Staffs are friendly and pool area is lovely and well maintained.
Free use of sunbed/parasol at the nearby beach is a huge plus. Really lovely beach!
Drink/food from the hotel is very good and reasonable price, wish they offer more choices though.
If you are looking for a relaxing stay in the island, not need much of night life, this is the place

2 stelle? Hotel ben al di sopra della categoria esposta. Le camere, la location in generale, sono come quanto rappresentato sul sito. Piscina ampia e lettini in numero giusto (anche se il vizietto di mettere al mattino l'asciugamano per occupare il lettino, c'è sempre!). Pulizia degli ambienti molto buona. Camere con spazi giusti (abbondano nella suite). Parco curato. Vi è un corredo a disposizione degli ospiti davvero generoso (palette, cappelli, braccioli) esposti in giardino,da usare in sede o poter portare in spiaggia. Massima libertà garantita. Infatti, sia a colazione che agli altri pasti, puoi usufruire di tutti gli spazi ed arredi a disposizione, ottimo per noi, non per le cameriere. Ho usufruito solo della colazione. Bar un pò caruccio ma in linea con la località. Ho avuto un piccolo problema in camera ma la titolare lo ha risolto con eleganza e generosità. Ho avuto un piccolo problema per i capricci della mia carta mia credito ma l'altra titolare (sono madre e figlia) si è fidata ed abbiamo risolto in armonia. Ecco, porgo i miei ringraziamenti alla 2 padrone di casa, gentilissime ed accomodanti. L'hotel si trova a 2 passi dalla conca di mare a mio avviso più bella di tutta l'isola (che io adoro), con spiaggia di sabbia fine, ideale per stare al mare con i figli. La spiaggia inoltre offre parapendio e tante altre attività. Penso che tornerò in questa bellissima isola (per la quarta volta) ed ovviamente, prenoterò in questo hotel (in passato abbiamo alloggiato in altri hotel vicini a questo, con più stelle, ma ribadisco che il Vasilikos Beach Hotel è il migliore e nel posto migliore dell'isola. Ve lo consiglio vivamente. Cosa migliorerei? Solo il caffè, ma si sà, noi italiani ne facciamo un culto.

Stayed with my wife 10th to 17th. Hotel and surrounding area is perfect.......extremely well looked after by Hilary, Ria, Roxanne, the twins and the rest of the very capable team. Sorry didn't get all your your names but you know who you are. A minor issue with our initial room (which was an upgrade, pleasant surprise thankyou) was quickly put right by Ria, Spent 4 days driving round the beautiful island. Great little car provided by Fanos car rentals. Book with confidence at the Vasilikos Beach Hotel of being well looked after on having a very laid back holiday, but should you wish there are abundant watersports just a 5 minute walk away.

The bed is comfortable. That's about it with the room. The bathroom is terrible. Shower cubicle is too small and the dirty mouldy shower curtain sticks to u so u have to shower without thus flooding the bathroom. The plastic toilet seat is discoloured and stained. The pipes under the sink are old rusty and leaked. The tray with the coffee and kettle was swimming in water when I first arrived. Don't rate the cleaners at all. The old rusty shutters stick. The hotel is well located however nearby beaches 5 mins walk. My advice don't book a "standard" room due to the poor quality bathroom.

We just spent 10 lovely days at the hotel, it’s well run with attentive and friendly staff. The hotels rooms and swimming pool are spotlessly clean and the hotel serves a really good breakfast and range of snacks & drinks. Will be back next year Hilary!

Return visit to Hotel Vasilikos Beach. I could simply say we had a perfectly relaxing time and leave it at that but I am sure that Tripadvisor would require some justification. So, welcomed by Hilary, Ria and all the hotel staff as if we were family returning home. It certainly felt like that after a hiatus of six years (last visited in 2018). Allocated to our favourite room 127 that has a lovely view to the sea. Many of the rooms were renovated in 2019 but Room 127 remains one of the originals, simply but comfortably furnished that made for a quiet and comfortable night's sleep. Breakfasts now offer a choice of both freshly cooked options as well as continental options, all served, buffet style, in the modern restaurant area that overlooks the pool. The ambience of the hotel, pool area and gardens remains peaceful and relaxed. As guests of the hotel we had complementary sun loungers at the nearby St Nicholas beach. There remain four tavernas within easy walking distance for dinners and during the daytime, a bigger choice of nearby beach bars for drinks and food. This remains one of our favourite hotels. Cannot wait to return!

Our hotel wouldn’t allow a late check in and had no facilities for us to store cases or shower at the end of our day prior to being picked up for the airport at 6pm. We popped over to Hotel Vasillikos and asked if they could help. They were more than accommodating and showed us where we could leave our cases and allowed us to use the pool and showering facilities as long as we ate and drank there. We were also given advice on how to get buses to and from town which was a great help. This to me is the best customer care you can give and has us considering our return next year to this hotel. Thankyou to the extremely helpful ladies on reception who helped us.

Great place to stay, quiet with nice people on board, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and food was good as well. Nice looking pool outside and location is awesome, just few minutes from the beach. Around the hotel is few restaurants and shops.
