Golden Sun Hotel

The whole family loved this hotel. The food was varied each meal with the option of made to order/specials each day. The highlight of the restaurant was the manager George; such an attentive and informative member of staff who greeted us with the biggest smile each and every day. Other members of staff that made the stay memorable were the wait staff, who went out of their way to check-in on our holiday. Stathis, who greeted us upon our arrival and toured us to our room, and Dennis, encouraging us to partake in the evening entertainment when on. The public areas were always spotlessly clean and staff regularly doing checks. The hotel is a 10/15 minute walk from the main street/strip and only a few minutes walk from the beach, prime location. The only wish for future stays would be more frequent entertainment at night. I would stay here again and in fact have already began looking for next year.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice and modern (207). The food was nice, after reading some reviews i don't get what people were moaning at to be honest. The staff are first class from the reception we got on arrival from the reception staff. George the restaurant manager. The lady in the pool bar (forgot her name sadly). The life guards are excellent to talk to and John the barman was brilliant as well. Everyone was. The room got cleaned everyday with fresh towels which is absolutely brilliant. The one wee niggle I have is the lack of entertainment during the day and at night time. If that can be addressed this would easily be five stars. Location is fantastic as well. Thanks for a great trip.

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel!! I have no bad comments to make only good!! George the restaurant manager was the nicest man ever!! So lovely and happy every time we saw him!! He was there breakfast lunch and dinner!! The food was lovely and always something for everyone The staff were all lovely from the reception to the waiters especially Dennis and the cleaners!! Our room was tidied everyday and fresh towels everyday which was lush!! Cannot fault this hotel at all!! Would definitely return if travelling to Zante again!!!

L’hotel è una perla in zona. La stanza con piscina privata mi ha regalato momenti di assoluto relax. Buono il wi-fi gratuito utilizzabile anche negli spazi comuni. Peccato che la tv non prevedeva nessun canale italiano ma tutto considerato è stato meglio così perché ha contribuito a staccare un pò la spina dai media. La colazione è a la carte con un servizio di prima classe. Tutto preparato al momento con l’aggiunta quasi tutte le mattine di uno squisito dolce per gli ospiti. La piscina esterna di grandi dimensioni prevedeva dei lettini comodissimi il tutto in un ambiente rilassante e raffinato. Speciale menzione per il bar dove è possibile ordinare gustosi drink e snack. Rilassante la zona idromassaggio ma e’ curiosa la mancanza di una doccia con servizi. Ho provato la SpA interna in una giornata di pioggia dove oltre al massaggio ho utilizzato la rilassante piscina riscaldata con idromassaggio . A pochi metri dalla struttura si trova una lunga spiaggia pubblica nota per essere zona protetta per la presenza delle tartarughe che lì nidificano. Tutto lo staff è stato gentile, disponibile e molto professionale . E’ stata una vacanza di 8 gg indimenticabile. Consiglio vivamente questo albergo per soli adulti per chi cerca ogni confort e tranquillità.

We stayed in a suite with a private pool. Staff and owners were friendly in a discrete way. Room was spacious,bed very comfortable and everything was clean (cleaning staff was passing by every morning). Hotel surroundings (fountain,garden etc.) were also very well preserved and clean. A la carte breakfast with variety of tasy choices. Hotel restaurant is highly recommended (many tasty choices in reasonable price). We enjoyed our time there and would definitely visit the resort again!

Le personnel de l’hôtel est adorable et chaleureux! Par contre il faut savoir que les chambres donnent littéralement au dessus de la piste d’atterrissage de l’aéroport donc un bruit assourdissant à chaque nouvelle approche d’un avion. L’hôtel est propre, moderne et les chambres spacieuses mais si vous êtes sensible au bruit passez votre chemin. Très bon séjour grâce au personnel qui relève le niveau par contre pour le prix payé (300€ la nuit) ce n’est pas un bon rapport qualité prix pour un hôtel de ce standing...
