This is my go-to hotel when visiting Zhangjiagang, easily one of the best (if not *the* best) in the area. The location is incredibly convenient; it's a short drive to various attractions, and super handy for shopping. Being right next to Wanda Plaza means if you're ever at a loss for what to do, you can catch a movie or get a massage – truly a perfect spot for us lazy souls! A special mention goes to Manager Huang Yuping for her incredibly attentive and thoughtful service. She was both professional and warm, and took care of all my needs throughout my stay. P.S. Looks like Sam's Club across the street is opening soon; I hope to check it out on my next visit!

The room was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean. The service was fantastic. Downstairs, there's a superb bar and a beer pub. Right outside, you'll find a Wanda Plaza, and there's ample parking. It truly offers everything you need, making dining, shopping, and getting around exceptionally convenient. As a local, I'm very proud of it!

I traveled by high-speed train to Zhangjiagang Station, and a taxi ride from there took approximately 15 minutes to reach the hotel, which was very convenient. For those driving, the hotel offers a spacious underground parking lot, ensuring parking is completely hassle-free. 🏨 **Environment and Rooms:** Upon entering the lobby, I was immediately struck by its modern and grand design, with soft lighting creating an upscale yet welcoming atmosphere. Check-in was a breeze; the front desk staff were warm, professional, and quickly got me settled into my room. My room was on a higher floor, and as soon as I opened the door, I was impressed by its spacious and bright interior. The panoramic window design is fantastic; the floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking views of the city skyline and the bustling nightscape of Zhangjiagang. The bedding was perfectly comfortable – not too soft, not too firm – ensuring I had a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation and was stocked with premium toiletries, showcasing attention to detail and quality. Furthermore, the room's soundproofing was excellent; despite the city's hustle and bustle outside, it was remarkably quiet once the windows were closed. 🍱 **Dining Experience:** I must commend the hotel's dining options. The breakfast buffet, served at Zhenchu Restaurant on the 39th floor, offered an incredibly diverse spread, with both Western and Chinese dishes to satisfy every palate. I particularly enjoyed their freshly-made noodles; the rich broth and springy noodles, complemented by a variety of fresh toppings, made for a truly satisfying start to the day. The fresh, seasonal fruits were also a highlight, wonderfully sweet and refreshing. For lunch and dinner, I tried Yunwei, the hotel's Chinese restaurant. Its elegant ambiance, imbued with Jiangnan charm, perfectly complemented the exquisite and delicious dishes. The menu beautifully blended Huaiyang cuisine with local Zhangjiagang specialties, making every dish memorable. Oh, and the Executive Lounge on the 36th floor is also exceptional. The afternoon tea offered delicate and delicious pastries that were perfectly sweet without being cloying. Happy Hour featured a generous selection of hot dishes and snacks, including freshly carved Peking duck, which the staff thoughtfully rolled and delivered to our table. Paired with expertly mixed cocktails, it was an absolutely superb dining experience! 🏊 **Facilities and Services:** The hotel's fitness center and indoor heated pool are both located on the 4th floor. The fitness center is well-equipped and open 24 hours, perfect for my workout schedule. The indoor heated pool had clean, crystal-clear water, and after a swim, I could relax in the adjacent massage pool – pure bliss! The hotel's service also left a lasting impression. From the front desk to room service, every staff member was warm, attentive, and incredibly prompt in their responses. On one occasion, I needed extra towels, and they were delivered to my room within minutes of my call to room service. Additionally, the hotel provides a business center with well-equipped meeting rooms, making it ideal for business travelers. My stay at the Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel was excellent, whether for business or a family vacation. While the price might not be considered low, the hotel offers great value for money given its brand reputation, exceptional service, and comfortable environment. For Marriott Bonvoy members, the perks like room upgrades and late check-out make it even more worthwhile. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

This is arguably the best hotel in Zhangjiagang. Our Ctrip package included executive lounge privileges, offering fantastic value for money. The afternoon tea, dinner, and cocktails were all excellent. The hotel breakfast was also superb and plentiful. The hotel boasts a beautiful and comfortable environment, high-quality bedding, and the service was consistently excellent. It's truly ideal for a relaxing summer getaway.

The room was spacious, bright, and very clean, making for a very comfortable stay. Being on a high floor, it offered nice views. Wanda Plaza is right next door, which is incredibly convenient for shopping.

We were pleasantly surprised by the turndown service and thoughtful small gifts provided on both consecutive nights. The Executive Lounge's evening reception offered fresh and delicious food. Wanda Plaza is conveniently located right downstairs, making shopping incredibly easy.

The hotel has a swimming pool and a spa. Tried both and it’s amazing! Breakfast is very good, you can even get ice cream and pancakes. The rooms have everything you need. Nearby (50m) is Wanda Plaza with shops and restaurants.

The valet service outside the hotel was excellent; I was very satisfied with the parking spot they arranged for me. The check-in process at the front desk was a bit slow, and the staff member didn't provide any welcome information or seem particularly enthusiastic. Upon arrival, there were no complimentary welcome fruits. However, after I requested them, they were promptly delivered and included Perrier water, dates, and dried cranberries. The afternoon tea and dinner at the Executive Lounge were excellent, making it completely unnecessary to go out for other meals. The hotel pool was uncrowded and had a great atmosphere. I also appreciated that the women's changing room offered a sauna and a small hot tub, both of which I enjoyed. Unfortunately, despite being on a high floor, there wasn't much of a night view. Still, the overall experience was excellent, with both the facilities and service being top-notch.

This hotel really has everything going for it. The executive lounge, pool, and steam room were all fantastic, and the service was also excellent. However, it was let down by the air conditioning. We reported the issue to the hotel, and the engineering department responded very promptly to address it. But even with the AC set to its lowest, the room temperature wouldn't drop, consistently staying around 27 degrees Celsius.

The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the mattress was exceptionally comfortable. All the hotel staff were incredibly polite, and check-in was a breeze. With Wanda Plaza located right downstairs, it was incredibly convenient for both shopping and entertainment. The service and facilities absolutely justified the price, making it fantastic value for money.

I've long wanted to visit Zhangjiagang, a county-level city located very close to Shanghai and consistently ranked among China's top 100. So, when it came to choosing a hotel, I didn't hesitate to book the Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel, widely considered the top hotel in the area. The lobby is truly impressive. I booked an executive room on the 37th floor, which was impeccably clean and thoughtfully laid out. The executive lounge offered a high-quality dinner with an extensive selection, and the complimentary alcoholic beverages were delightful. Breakfast also featured a wide variety of delicious options! A special commendation goes to the gentleman with glasses who assisted me with check-in at the front desk; he was incredibly attentive and professional! The front desk staff were absolutely incredible! So warm and welcoming. I had previously made a mistake with a request, and though I felt bad for potentially causing them trouble, I have truly never experienced such genuine warmth and kindness from staff. For instance, when I coughed a little at the front desk, they immediately asked if I was feeling unwell and offered me ginger tea. Their service truly deserves a huge thumbs-up! 👍

Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. Even before checking in, the hotel called to proactively ask about my estimated arrival time and if I had any specific needs, which I found to be very thoughtful. Upon arriving at the hotel at noon, check-in was seamless. The front desk service was excellent, and they clearly explained the operating hours for all hotel facilities. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip.
