Zhangjiajie Qishi Li Cave Homestay (National Forest Park Flagship Store)

We were very disappointed/shocked about the state of the room. The hotel wants to be a high end location but the room was not fit to be rented out. From the elevator we could see the pool and even from that distance we could see it wasn’t cleaned. The elevator itself had some issues. The room was in a state where it was supposed to be renovated some time ago already. The butler did make a good effort to help us but the hotel just isn’t up to high standards. We booked the top floor room. There was no closets to put our clothes. Also no stand to put our luggage on. So you will have to spread out your luggage on the floor during your stay. We booked for two nights but not even an hour after arriving we decided to leave and cancel the second night. I have added photos to proof my comments.

We had such a lovely stay at Quishi Li Homestay. The staff were so nice and helpful. The staff helped us with everything from the stay to booking park tickets and taxi for us. The hotel was beautiful and very unique in its own way. My husband and my in law kept complimenting how great this place is. We truly enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Thank you everyone at Quishi Li Homestay!

We had a very comfortable stay here at the newly opened Cave Homestay. Room was spacious with excellent view of the mountains and the hotel garden. Prime location with easy access to the National Park. Delicious breakfast - compliments to the Chef. Excellent service from Manager Mr Zhang and the lovely butler Ms Shuang. Availability of washing machine & dryer gives an added convenience. Would definitely recommend for Zhangjiajie National Park visitors.

A stunning designer hotel. Super modern, new with lots of designer touches. The staff had great attitudes, friendly, helpful and would try their best to help as they can (though they seem inexperienced and not to international standard). One of the issue is their lack of English (as with most hotels in China). They also serve Chinese breakfast, while they are willing to make changes, the issue is the lack of ingredients or understanding (but they are very happy to make changes). Cave bar was also closed during our entire stay. All in all, while there is room for improvements, we had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Zhangjiajie.

The hotel is very beautiful and very well located. Some of the stuff were extremely nice and helpful, while others showed zero interest in trying to communicate with foreign customers. When we arrived at 3, we were told that one of the rooms was not ready. We came back at 4 - same thing. The check in is supposed to be at 2. We didn’t get any apology and I feel like for the price we paid it’s not acceptable. It was hard to understand how restaurant works. One day we asked for food and they told us there was no food, the next day we saw people eating and managed to order. We were told that you need to inform them in advance if you want to have dinner on a last day only. My brother speaks some Chinese and in other places we stayed at people tried to understand him, but at this hotel one employee literally turned away when he tried to talk to him. However, many other workers were very nice to us and tried their best to communicate. It’s a good place to stay at if you speak Chinese. Amenities and views are great, just the restaurant is confusing and also the bar is not open yet as we were told.

Highly recommended hotel in Zhangjiajie. The hotel is very clean and close to the east gate. Highlighted with a cave bar ( a real natural cave) and super friendly staff to arrange birthday celebration.
