The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very large and comfortable. It was very close to the national park which was our reason for visiting. The areas of the hotel was very pretty as were the surrounding areas outside. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic new hotel in the heart of Wulingyuan! I spent two nights and then extended my stay one more day. This hotel is luxurious, peaceful with great balcony views, a large soaking tub, and a good breakfast. The staff is very kind and courteous to a degree which I’ve only found in smaller rural cities. The cost is half of Pullman and Neodalle, yet I imagine it has similar luxuries. It’s located just a couple minute drive from Zhangjiajie National park, which was super convenient as I was able to be the last one for pick up in my tour group. The bed, blanket and pillows I found very comfortable. They even provided me with a complementary gift upon checkout. I have high standards for hotels and they met them all. I would definitely stay here again.
FYI-I would advise to put a cloth against the outside of the shower door as I did find that the seal wasn’t great and water tends to leak out.

Manyuan is the perfect place to stay when exploring Zhangjiajie natural park. The hotel is a 10 min walk from the gate by foot, following a path along the river. The hotel is comfortable with large, clean rooms. The staff is extremely helpful and will help with anything you want during your stay.
A tip from us: ask them about the helicopter tour and book option B!

Walkimg distance about 10 mins to wulingyuan east gate. Free laundry and dryer services. May consult front desk for zhangjiajie itinerary and they can help you to buy entrance tickets.

Loved the location! On a quiet street right next to the river, you can easily walk to the east gate entrance from here, or a few minutes to the Main Street as well. We also loved the included breakfast, it is very convenient before a day full of adventure.
Staff are all friendly and helpful, even the convenience store lady that is inside the hotel.
Our room was quite big, but has a strange layout, with a pillar near the side of the bed, but easy enough to avoid. The “Mountain View”window looked into the local houses, but scenery outside the hotel is much better. It would be nice if the room had hangers or hooks for towels or our coats. Some things were just in strange places, like towels kept in a wardrobe outside the bathroom near the bed, or shampoo bottle is next to the sink, but easy enough to find.
Wi-fi was not good, each room was supposed to have their own, but ours only existed for a few hours, we were able to connect to others sometimes, but the service was slow and inconsistent.

The room is quite well kept and nice. The location is also quite central and is close to the attractions.
Service is also commendable as the staff offered recommendations on good food nearby with 10% off.
Only thing I'm unsure is that they recommended to buy Baofeng Lake tickets from them, which they quoted as being 100 Yuan per pax, with the original price supposedly 110 Yuan. I was unable to confirm the original price at the actual ticket counter, but either case, it's either not worth it, or they overcharged us.

Our initial 3-night stay at ManYuan was so impressive, we happily extended it by an additional night. The hotel is clean and spacious, offering a picturesque view of a mountain stream.
Its location is ideal, just a leisurely 10 minutes walk to the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest, which made it incredibly convenient if you plan to visit Zhangjiajie National Forest!
Traveling with elderly family members and young children could have been challenging, but Peng Yi was an absolute lifesaver. She meticulously helped us with booking tickets to all attractions and arranging transport at very good rates, making our trip seamless. Beyond Peng Yi, the entire staff at ManYuan was consistently friendly and helpful. We also greatly appreciated the complimentary laundry service and the included breakfast, which was less spicy and oily than typical local restaurants.
Will definitely return on our next trip to Zhangjiajie National Forest.
