The hostel is well located, less than 10 minutes away from the entrance of the national park, which makes it really convenient.
It looks good from the outside, the common area is quite welcoming and makes it easy to socialize. However, the hostel lacks cleaning. It does not seem to be cleaned everyday, which is, to my taste, not nice.
There are only squatting toilets as well, and the bathrooms are also dirty.
The beds are comfortable enough, and the room is spacious, with a fair amount of storages. There is humidity in the room though. It thus requires lots of aeration/ac.
Overall, my stay was nice because I got to meet lots of people, but it might feel lonely if there is not a lot of people in the hostel.

The host was extremely friendly. It’s close to the Zhangjiajie national park, about 10 minutes walking. The guests were very friendly and welcoming. The staff were helpful.

This is a great hostel to stay in if you want to visit the national park. It’s less than a 5 minute walk to the park entrance. The host speaks a bit of English and can explain the park to you. You will also meet more international travellers in this hostel which is rare for China. The beds are very comfortable. I would recommend the bathroom be cleaned more frequently.

The location is perfect! A few minutes walk to the East gate and a 1 minute walk to the nightly street market. The receptionist or boss is very friendly and helpful. He provides a lot of information and can book the National Park tickets for cheaper than I could find. The whole hostel is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Each bed has a curtain, lamp, and can charge two things. Their is a nice lobby and also a rooftop for people to relax.
The only thing to be aware of is that there are only squat toilets in the hostel.

Well located Hostel for visiting the Zhangjiajie Forest Park. It has a nice common area, which is great to meet other travelers. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Great location and friendly staff but the bathrooms need cleaning more frequently and there were a lot of cobwebs in the hallways.

So far the best hostel I have stayed in while travelling in China. It’s super modern, clean and comfortable. This is also the only hostel so far where I met other western solo backpackers. East gate of the Zhangjiajie national park is just 7-10 minutes by foot. They have self service washing machines

I would call this place "my best friend house"! Everything here is beyond amazing! Clean place. Hot shower. Great facilities. The best and the most helpful owner and staffs. Homey vibe.
