Zhangjiajie Ziyan Ningxiang Chinese Inn

Excellent location, extremely friendly and welcoming owner family who care so much about their guests. They help us book a ride wherever we needed one as we are 6 pax and tell us the price to give to the driver. My friend fell in the national park, went to first aide station and the staff said she should go to the hospital to get an x-ray. We went back to the hotel, the lady owner quickly told her husband to drive her there. He didn’t charge a penny.

We recommend! The most beautiful hotel on the street! Gorgeous rooms! Very helpful stuff, cozy family-house atmosphere. They helped us to buy the tickets to the attractions cheaper than they are in the office! They basically planned our trip so we didn’t have to spend time planning! Super helpful! Super friendly!

We are happy with our stay here (and extended for 2 more nights). The rooms are huge - a lot bigger than expected. The shower is hot, the beds are comfortable and every day we got new water bottles and the beds have been made, plus fresh towels! Downstairs there is a water dispenser which comes in handy and plenty of great restaurants nearby. We usually go to the same one sort of just across the road. The park entrance is nearby, the owner helped us book tickets and the time slot for every entrance (has to be pre-booked). A ticket with unlimited cable car rides and elevator costs 480 pp! Sometimes we had an issue with people smoking and the smell entered the room… didn’t appreciate it at all. Most of the people staying here are foreigners, and everyone seemed distressed by this one guy smoking in front of the elevator (indoors). The problem got solved quickly, but still it kept happening. Would suggest to be stricter with fines and look at the cctv to talk to the person directly.

Amazing hotel / guest house a 5 minute walk from the East Gate of the national park. The host was extremely kind, helping us plan our itinerary and book all of our attraction tickets, and was very patient with the million questions we asked. There is a real family feel to the place.

We would absolutely stay here again. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. He provided free maps for the various sights we were visiting during our stay. The rooms were relatively clean with strong wifi. The location is unbeatable if you are visiting Zhangjiajie park (Tianzi mountain, Yuanjiajie, etc.) - it’s about a 5 minute walk from the park’s east entrance gate. There are plenty of food options nearby, but it’s a relatively quiet street (not a lot of cars honking). It’s also a 15 minute walk to the main bridge, which is very lively at night.

Such a cute hotel! Super close to the park east gate and the bus station (easy access to Zhangjiajie). The staff are lovely, they're super happy to answer any questions you have about the park or the area, if feels like a real family place! Room was cleaned daily and water, toiletries and toothbrushes were supplied. Walls are a little thin, I was woken up a few times my first night by people talking in the hallway.
