Hotels in 72 Wonder Tower/Dayong Ancient City, Zhangjiajie

Trying to find the hotel was the slightly difficult part unless you know what to look for, but they do have a big poster on the entrance at street level. The apartment was lovely and light. The reception staff were very helpful and also helped us buy tickets for Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Very good location close to local shops. Do bring ear plugs though as during morning you can hear the traffic below. Would still recommend them. Good view from the room. Catch a didi to the intersection of the Jiefang Road and Yingbin Road. About 2-3 mins walk from there to building entrance. Floor 17A.

An amazing hidden gem of a hotel! I stay in many hotels every year and rarely leave reviews, but this one truly deserves a mention. Zhangjiajie isn't that big, so your exact location doesn't make a huge difference; there's no need to specifically look for hotels near the cable car or the 72-Peculiar Towers. Both the lobby and rooms offer beautiful river views. Downstairs, there are several well-known Zhangjiajie restaurants. The facilities are brand new, almost as if the hotel just opened a few days ago. The decor is tasteful and gives off a cozy, welcoming vibe. Breakfast is a set menu, exquisite and delicious. The service is proactive and warm; they met all our reasonable requests (we didn't try anything excessive!). All in all, it's a refined hidden gem and highly recommended!

My stay at the Mercure Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain Center was truly wonderful! The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by its French-inspired, light-luxury styling, adorned with Morandi colors – elegant, romantic, and truly stylish. During check-in, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and efficient, and even offered helpful recommendations for local restaurants and sightseeing. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the high-quality toiletries were reassuring. The hotel also had comprehensive amenities. The LG washer-dryer kept my clothes dry while I was out and about. The gym was brand new, perfect for daily workouts. The restaurant also had a wide variety of delicious food. The hotel's location is also fantastic, with convenient transportation. The Seventy-Two Wonders Towers are just a 10-minute drive away, making it incredibly convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Zhangjiajie! I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Zhangjiajie – I'm sure you'll love it!

We received a complimentary room upgrade; the room was very spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The windows offered excellent soundproofing, and the shampoo and shower gel had a lovely scent. The hotel's location is superb, within easy walking distance of the Tianmen Mountain Cableway and a Cha Yan Yue Se shop. The complimentary coffee provided by the hotel was delicious. Additionally, there's a particularly delicious Sanxiaguo restaurant close by.

Facilities: Well-equipped. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Quiet. Service: The service truly stood out. The owner was incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to provide detailed answers to any questions we had. Their exceptional attitude alone completely enhanced our stay. Moreover, the location is very convenient, not far from the Zhangjiajie scenic area.

This is a new hotel with all new facilities. The front desk staff mostly speak Mandarin, but they are very helpful, friendly, and quick. The location is perfect—close to a mini-market and Tianmen Mountain. The laundry room, gym, and especially the rooms are super clean, neat, and comfortable. The bathroom is also very clean. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie (ZJJ).

The room was clean and spacious. Shopping is very convenient, with Hualian Supermarket nearby, and dining options are also convenient. The hotel is very clean. The room was well-equipped and reasonably priced.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10-15 minute drive from both the high-speed train station and Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area. It was very quiet at night, and the breakfast was decent enough to fill you up. Downstairs, there's a supermarket and restaurants. The hotel's specialty shop also offered good value for money; I compared their prices with other souvenir stores, and theirs were actually relatively cheaper, especially since hotel guests get a special discount – that was a fantastic perk! I ended up staying here for two consecutive nights.

Hotel room was great , clean spacious and same as photos. Location not very ideal for late nighters, food below the hotel is rather pricey due to the tourist location. But very near tianmen mountain entrance. Hotel didnt include tickets to the 72 strange building which was a little disappointing as the hotel was located in the attraction itself. Has convenient stores below but 90% of the shops close at 10pm. Room was entered and made up daily even though we pressed the Do Not Disturb button. Other than that it was a pretty great stay! Would recommend!

My friends and I had an amazing experience at 嘉宁 hotel in Zhangjiajie. The room was very nice and clean and the people from the reception were extremely kind and helpful. They assisted us in booking tickets for places such as Tianmen mountain and Wulingyuan. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and would also like to stay there again next time! Oh and the view was also very nice! 😊🤙
