"This isn't our first time staying at Xilai Lodge, but this visit was truly horrifying. We found such a huge centipede! The hotel's handling of the situation was also very simplistic – they just moved us to another room. Because it was so late and we were rushing, my friend's Pandora earrings went missing. Although the hotel later gave us a gift regarding the earrings, this experience was genuinely terrible for us. It felt incredibly perfunctory."

They even arranged a south-facing room for us and were very helpful in resolving any room-related issues. Thank you! "Meditation Experience: This activity was fantastic! It really helped calm my mind before visiting Mount Putuo's temples. Ambiance: Beautiful! This hotel is incredibly photogenic. It's no wonder they offer photography services. Facilities: The hotel lobby is right next to the only Starbucks on the island! Service: The staff were all so friendly! I accidentally left a sample-sized face wash, and the hotel actually found it and called me to ask if I wanted it mailed to my home. Location: It's super convenient for attending morning prayers at Puji Temple! It's a maximum 3-minute walk. Restaurant: The ambiance is nice, it's not crowded, the food tastes good, and the prices are fair! Aside from the known issue of no elevator, which means carrying luggage up and down stairs, I also encountered a problem with the shower leaking into the bathroom. However, I would still choose to stay at this hotel again."
