Tui Blue Adriatic Beach - Adults Only

There lots of great things about the hotel, with the staff being one of them. Everyone who we encountered was brilliant, particularly Agan in the restaurant who always watchful for my disabled wife. The pool was nice and the beach was beautiful. The facilities were fine for a 4 Star hotel, with amazing views wherever you looked. The biggest let down for me was the amount of steps you had to deal with each day (4-5 storeys worth to get to the pool from the main building). My wife has limited mobility which I made clear on the booking and when I checked in prior to arrival, but the hotel staff were unaware. Nothing in the information for the hotel when I booked made this clear, because if it had, I would have gone elsewhere. To make things worse, elements of the stairs had no handrail which was a real issue for my wife, hence not giving the hotel a better score. The food was good, but became a bit repetitive as the week progressed. Some themed nights would have been good. The ‘snacks’ from the pool bar were really limited and very poor. If you wanted something better to eat, you had to go back up the stairs, which was very disappointing. Notwithstanding the above, if it wasn’t for the steps I’d be inclined to give a 9 or 10, and would look to come back again. We will definitely be back to Croatia, but not to this hotel given the access issues.

We last visited this hotel 2015/16 when it newly opened under the Karisma brand. We realised it has changed to TUI Blue and gave it another go. Staff still very good and plenty of them at all the bars with quick service. Visited the Culinarium, if you order anything not included you have to pay there and then. Also visited the BQ night at the Hotel Makarska the sister hotel in Igrane £25 per head drinks payable. Transfer included. Good night. Really disappointed with the hotels buffet, food. It seamed straight out of the 70s. For all inclusive when the meals are a big part of the holiday it was a big let down and was more of a chore than a pleasure. Will not be returning.

This hotel is pleasant enough if you want to lay around the pool all day. But beware theres lots of stairs! The beach is very near but you have to pay 12 euros for a sun lounger. I booked a superior delux room with sea veiw it reminded me of a premier inn room, there a bit dated and not very big! I also wouldn’t bother to much booking a sea view room most of the rooms you see the sea from the balcony. The food is the usual all inclusive buffet style you always find something to eat. Its not great but eatable. I was quite disappointed with the location of this hotel theres nothing outside the hotel apart from a small supermarket a couple of restaurants and a gift shop, the hotel does put a singer on in the bar at night but its nothing special most people were playing cards to occupy there selves. The best part about this hotel is the scenery its amazing! Would i go back to this hotel……. Probably not its just to quiet and its in the middle of nowhere! We went as a party of six and were all bored theres no atmosphere at this hotel.

We have recently returned from a 10 night stay at TUI Blue Adriatic, this is a great hotel in a beautiful location, there many positives and a few small negatives. Staff- 99% of the staff are great, the hotel is well staffed and nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always friendly. Thea’s coffee bar: great staff and a good choice of hot and cold drinks. A big negative was the mojito bar, it serves the worst mojitos we have ever had, tried it on various occasions and never got any better, they ran out of lime and used lemons which made it even worse. Restaurants were well staffed but food was often repetitive with a lot of pork dishes and not enough salad choices. Also it was not that great for vegetarians and vegans, They did cater reasonably well for gluten and dairy allergies and intolerance. The pool is nice but a little crowded with a lot of sun beds close together at the pool bar, in my opinion they should get rid of the 2 cabanas at the pool entrance making way for additional sun beds. The Entertainment/activity team are great and as with all TUI Blue teams we have seen in other hotels do an amazing job. The beach is nice but very rocky so beach shoes are a necessity. There are a lot of steps from The beach back to the lifts and I couldn’t figure out if there is a route from the reception to the beach without taking any stairs. Its not great if you have Mobility issues. Evening entertainment wasn’t the best but we have found that hotels that are all inclusive never have really good entertainment as they don’t want you out all night drinking your monies worth Room: good comfy bed. Good bathroom and shower, slight negative on the balcony size, some are very narrow, most don’t have a towel rail for beach towels and swimming costumes to dry out on. Aircon seems to have a mind of its own and would go cold when the room was empty but wouldn’t allow us to set it under 22 degrees

our recent holiday booked through the TUI Store. When booking, we made it very clear that we wanted a luxury, adults-only hotel where we could relax. The hotel you recommended to us was presented as meeting these criteria. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we were promised. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was not a luxury experience. The hotel was overcrowded, with coachloads of guests all pushing to reach check-in first. There were no welcome drinks, despite these being advertised as included. As we were on the only flight of the day, arriving late, the restaurant was closed. Instead, we were offered a wet, soggy, inedible sandwich and three mouldy strawberries – a wholly inadequate and unacceptable “welcome meal” for guests paying for a premium holiday. Throughout our stay: • Entertainment was repetitive, the same every evening. • Staff appeared disinterested and unmotivated, with no smiles or sense of service. • Drinks service was sloppy – for example, I ordered red wine and was given white; instead of using a clean glass, the staff simply poured the white wine down the sink and poured red wine into the same dirty glass. • Drink quality was poor, with only cheap brands available. • The hotel ran out of tea bags for two full days. • The location is in the middle of nowhere, with nothing nearby – something we should have been informed about when booking. This was not the luxury, relaxing, adults-only holiday we booked and paid for. To make matters worse, when we raised these concerns with you, we were told that the hotel is “outstanding” and that more photos would be needed as “evidence.” However, there was nothing worth photographing – the problems we experienced were about service, quality, and misrepresentation, not visual damage. We are now very concerned about our upcoming Platinum holiday booked for December, especially if TUI’s standards and aftercare remain the same.

So hotel amazing...views amazing...if you want a quiet relaxing hotel this is the place to be....hotel was clean, staff great, pool lovely and beach...I have no complaints just things to make people aware of.. 1. There are no bars, shops or restaurants to wander too apart from a small village with one supermarket, restaurant/bar and small shop thing on sidewalk.. 2. Idea to take your own shoes for swimming in sea as pebbled (£15 to purchase in hotel shop) 3. Lots of steps (approx 90) to get up and down from pool area.. 4. The hotel is a long transfer approx 2.5hrs and most trips are also a 2hr coach ride... My only other thing would be the entertainment, in my opinion it is very boring and dated quite old fashioned.
