Universal Studios Japan at night

Take a moment to remember January of 2022, when Japan closed its borders and USJ wasn't that congested. Queues moved so quickly that if you wanted, you could ride every ride in a single day. It was an eventful period of time. Now that borders are open to tourists as well, I hope everyone would be able to visit and enjoy USJ. #throwback #japan

Mipig Cafe

Mipig Cafe

I've always wanted to share with everyone about this pig cafe ☕️, but I've been so lazy. It feels like I'm talking about something from the beginning of the year. 🙈 This Japanese mini pig cafe, Mipig Cafe 🐽, is very popular in Tokyo, and I've been wanting to go for a long time. Currently, they have branches in many places in Japan. I visited their Shinsaibashi store during my last trip to Osaka. 💗 Making a reservation online was very convenient. Remember to make a reservation on their official website in advance. The cost includes an entrance fee 🎫 plus a minimum order of one drink ☕️🟰 for 30 minutes of interaction with the pigs 🐽. The average cost per person is around HKD $100. If you want to continue, there will be an additional charge for every 30 minutes ⏰. Inside, there are small pigs and big pigs 🐷. They come in pink, black, and my favorite, brown with spots 🐗. Each of them has a name, and they are all very cute. ✨ Once you're seated, the staff will cover your lap with a blanket, and the pigs will come and sleep on your legs by themselves. It's really delightful to see them walking around you. 💕 But be careful not to force them to be held, and sometimes the pigs may fight for a spot on your lap. Especially the bigger ones may push away the smaller ones. (The black pig in the pic is very dominant and heavy!) They can be quite aggressive. 💢 At this time, remember not to reach out and intervene, or it may cause trouble. 🩹 If you want to get close to mini pigs, you can give it a try. They also have many pig-shaped desserts for taking photos. 🍮 Address: Smile step building 2F, 2-10-32 Nishishinsaibashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka Fu, 542-0086, Japan

This is an iconic landmark in the heart of Osaka with 108 meters high. Unfortunately there is only one elevator and therefore causing terrible traffic durinh peak hours. The observatory is at the fifth floor and you will be amazed by the view of Osaka. You can even spot the Abeno building. I also love the interior of the observation deck including the Billiken-san a statue believed to bring good luck. Explore every floors because you can see other exhibition displays.
